Speaker 1:

What's up, dudes? Draft season is here. At least it, I mean, it's been here at least for the last week or so. I'm sure you know by now. Sleeper is the best place for all things fantasy football. You're probably not shocked to hear this, but they chose the dudes as one of their partners. Use promo codes dudes 100 and they will match up to $100. Enjoy your fantasy football season. This is the fantasy football dudes podcast.

Speaker 3:

What is up, my dudes? This is Trent in the fantasy football dudes podcast. Unfortunately, some bad news guys. Phil is back back from the.

Speaker 4:

I don't, I don't really have the grave the sick grave.

Speaker 3:

I got Jordan and Seth here also today's pod. We are gonna go over some Sleepers. We have late round sleepers that are like ninth round and later is that kind of. We said Jordan, we say tenth round, we got some late sleepers and we're gonna do a mock draft also. But before we get into the sleepers and mock draft, phil, how you doing, buddy? You feeling better. You know you eat your Wheaties, take your Flintstone vitamins feeling good.

Speaker 5:

I saw him chug some Nyquil before he came in, so that's right.

Speaker 1:

That's right. You know what big guy I'm doing? All right I. I'm doing all right, I, you know. Here's the thing about me. I get hit pretty, pretty hard by illness from time to time, like like three times a year. I'll go down with something right like I, just that's everybody.

Speaker 5:

The ever get sick three times a year?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you look like it though all the time. Anyhow, I Such a dumb joke. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3:

Anyhow wish it made sense don't apologize for something.

Speaker 1:

So here's, here's, here's a thing I'm I'm constantly back against the wall. You know what I'm saying. And so when I go down with an illness, like I think it really like people's lives are impacted by it you know what I'm saying like my friends are calling to check in just because their lives Just don't feel the same without me. And so I was glad to bounce back with about three days, took some I didn't take that many meds Like. I just was like kind of powered through it. I went on a couple long walks just to try and sweat it out, but ultimately I ended up being okay the, the vanity of that monologue.

Speaker 4:

It was unreal.

Speaker 5:

In unnecessary, unneeded the back against the wall comment just like made me want to like just Just turn off the pot.

Speaker 4:

You literally said other people's lives aren't the same when I get sick.

Speaker 1:

I. Would, say like in the proof you like they aren't the same.

Speaker 3:

Their way better.

Speaker 5:

Oh, shut up, trent, you're basically at my bed his wife woke up and feels like I feel terrible and she's like yeah, I was.

Speaker 1:

So here's the thing. Yeah, I mean I, you know, and I didn't even do the chicken noodle soup thing I just, you know, kind of bounced back and that's kind of my thing. I that was like. I feel like that was like two weeks ago, that was just last week, which is again crazy, just like the whirlwind of things that have happened. All good things, right.

Speaker 5:

I just bounced back, but it took a while. It was a week.

Speaker 1:

I thought you're gonna ask me about a week everyone else have a good weekend.

Speaker 3:

You know you adjorn and set the little road trip road dogs over here with the local high school game and pass the robelays.

Speaker 4:

Honestly, I'll say that's probably the best place to go watch football game.

Speaker 5:

Oh it was like a cool like 75 degrees, a little breeze. I was like man this feels.

Speaker 1:

Stadiums behind it in on like down from a hill, right Isn't that.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's behind a hill, but also like the weather, just really nice like we're not gonna have that type of weather until like November.

Speaker 4:

Here for a Friday night. We have a decent trader Joe's there.

Speaker 3:

Well, and we have rain, we have rain in all right now crazy. You know, got a little hurricane Hillary right.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so yeah, I had an earthquake down in LA to today. There was 5.4.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so wait, heart hurts right now really how is he won this all the way? Pray for LA shirts on the pod.

Speaker 5:

He came in with these black t-shirts that says Burbank strong. So I'm like.

Speaker 1:

You guys made me take it off. Hey, so what I want to hear about this, like this, like I'm just shocked that you guys are both here, man, what, what, how was the road trip? Was it just you too? Was it like, yeah, and you guys made it successful. To how many Apple Maps, like, how many detours? What happened?

Speaker 5:

No, we just stopped for dinner before and watched some preseason football games and then went to the game.

Speaker 1:

It's like a two-hour lesson, a two-hour drive, I know, but you guys, you know I get nervous when you text me. You're heading over to my house and you live across town like I.

Speaker 5:

I just when do we ever go to your house.

Speaker 1:

You guys you made in my house a handful of times. I'm just saying like I just get. I'm just glad you guys made it there and back safely. Where did you guys go?

Speaker 4:

He says the guy who couldn't get a bed for a whole four days.

Speaker 5:

Where did you guys go eat? It's like this barbecue spot.

Speaker 4:

I it's called like bad bad bills or bad Bubba's or something yeah big Bubba's I.

Speaker 5:

Don't remember I don't know, it's like some.

Speaker 1:

it was like some Texas grill I was gonna text you guys to go to a spot that I really like. There is a barbecue place in Paso Rose. But it's probably the spot you know the spot that I like is called Jefferies.

Speaker 5:

Oh, okay, yeah, anyways, yeah, but then you guys?

Speaker 1:

what did you guys? What time did you guys leave this?

Speaker 5:

is all. The game was that like 730 and we left at like 430.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's not too bad, had dinner.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I had dinner and playing down the water we watched. We watched a high school football game on the east and that was fun to watch.

Speaker 3:

If football is back. So we got college football this Saturday. Let's go.

Speaker 4:

What are we?

Speaker 3:

16 days, 17 days 17 by win tomorrow.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so perfect so. Nfl season's just not three weeks from our recording. Three weeks, we will just watch study night game. Three weeks from now, yep, first time night game of year. I'll be one year anniversary of Trent trying to do a pod while watching the cowboy game live.

Speaker 3:

Man like my heart was broken and I had to pot.

Speaker 5:

That was so hard for you, trent. Yeah, yeah, we can't do that. He kept turning around and like I will say open staring 20-hour.

Speaker 1:

20-hour the guy's like chew gum and walk like I don't know why. We thought it'd be a good idea to like stream the game while we, while we did a podcast like.

Speaker 5:

For what it's worth. We might try to do that more this year.

Speaker 3:

We were trying to do it more because we're just kind of modern.

Speaker 1:

I listened to a handful of podcasts and Trent will just make a segue to Manscape and they're always so bad and I don't realize them until after I hear about. Well, here's the deal.

Speaker 3:

The modern man's a man who takes care of himself. Okay, manscaping isn't just for live special occasions, it's a requirement for optimal health and help, superior hygiene and healthy self-esteem. You now have the right tools for a safe and precise grooming and hard to navigate sensitive areas, phil. So yeah, we are modern. I don't know what to say, but other than In dudes, 20, 20% off your whole entire order. We got some deodorant on the table. The boxers 2.0, maybe the lawnmower 4.0. Just get all cleaned up right before fall season. Fall season, right you? know, true kind of Retro. Then, more than metro, they got foot dusters, clones, the plow, crop cleansers, crop mops. Go check out Manscape, tell them the dude cinch yet. But more importantly, entered dudes 20 for 20% off your whole entire order. I don't feel. I don't know why you think the word modern so bad. I don't.

Speaker 5:

I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I think Phil.

Speaker 5:

I'm close a point, though. Your segue was like I don't know, I don't know how I feel, even since that was coming, it was so modern. He said modern.

Speaker 1:

And then he picked up the thing and said it on his lap and I was like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 4:

No sorry.

Speaker 1:

I still need a cue card if you listen to some of the pot, he'll be like Seth speaking of camo shirts. It's the modern man it's like, and he does it too quick that you can't pick it up. But if you go back to other podcasts you will hear him like segue and then we're all totally fine with it. No one says anything, and so now I'm not gonna put up with it any longer, like we need some good segues here. Trent is what I'm saying. Fine.

Speaker 3:

Phil and talking about segues. We're doing a mock draft.

Speaker 1:

I see everyone's name up there, but yours.

Speaker 3:

I don't know what's going on you said, your mock drafting lit up right there.

Speaker 4:

I also don't see yours right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but I have it on the screen right here, so I just wasn't sure what I wanted one to do. Hmm, right there, boom, it was the dynamite.

Speaker 4:

So you need all the help you can get. Take the number one slot.

Speaker 5:

Phil always goes one.

Speaker 1:

I feel like no, don't get Phil go, like I'm trying to get in go go honestly, play it 10 and steal.

Speaker 4:

Are we, uh, are we doing this? Watch out first.

Speaker 3:

No, let's let's get into some sleepers here right now. So I got the sleepers pulled up this for the season? Yeah, if you guys want to check us out on YouTube, guys, really helps us out. Give us a Rating and review. Remember, don't be rude, share the dudes, guys. So go to YouTube, hit the thumbs up, subscribe all that good stuff and then pass us on to a friend. We're gonna get into sleepers right now. So, phil, do you need help? Buddy you doing okay? Oh, he went to the eight spot.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was in the eight. You want it?

Speaker 3:

You want to run these sleepers here, maybe you can throw it around kind of like what you used to do.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I was gonna do that and I will go ahead and do that. So, trent, you want to just kind of give me like. I know you have a handful of guys that you wanted to talk about yet. Yeah, I'll go first. That's good. I just wanted to hear the first one. I really like the expert, expert.

Speaker 4:

Example of hosting right here I really like the second one, jordan.

Speaker 1:

I really like the. I really like the second one that you had on your roster, which is why I said that. So Go ahead, trent.

Speaker 3:

I have Jaylen Warren and I know he's not the starter right now, but he just looks too good. I've been a nausea Harris guy like I'm talking about. You can get this guy. 11th round, 12th round, I think he's going to get touches.

Speaker 5:

I think he's just too good to keep off the field like I so I, I mean, I want to say like this is a good one, but like I think you do, you think he's gonna be relevant, even if I think he's gonna be so good that he's.

Speaker 3:

I think he's gonna be relevant.

Speaker 5:

Like hike, how like? Where are we? Where can we expect to finish on the RB list on the RB list.

Speaker 3:

I'm mostly saying like, like, if he gets all the opportunities like. I think he could finish like top 15 easily if nausea is hurt.

Speaker 5:

But if nausea is hurt, but you're saying if wolf play, and they're both healthy.

Speaker 3:

I think. I think they're gonna have trouble keeping him off the field, I think like it could be like 50% the past catcher. He, he hits the line of scrimmage really hard, lowers his shoulder like I know nausea had a nice stiff arm today. But I, I really like Jaylen Warren. I like where I'm getting them drafts like a zero RB strategy. I think Jaylen Warren, warren, is a really good play, yep.

Speaker 1:

What do you think I already do hold on? Do you think you have like? Is this like an Alexander Madison situation where you like, if you have cook, you almost want to make sure that you know, I think if you have nausea you have to have that one.

Speaker 5:

But but you think you could grab him in any later round, like I don't. I don't see him going on any draft boards.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, you can absolutely get him in later rounds, like I Think I have him in a league. I think I got him in like the 11th or 12th Seth. What do you think? Jordan?

Speaker 4:

He's definitely someone. I have a decent amount of best ball. I I kind of like, feel like because I almost want to put George big into the sleeper, but I don't need a sleeper where he's being drafted but I do think he's being undervalued. It's really hard to find sleepers nowadays too. I think the whole Steelers offense is being undervalued in general, like, I think, kenny pickets being undervalued. You know, he might start rising after his game, mr, I know his preseason but he looked good pickings, I think is gonna be the guy there. I think he's gonna pass you on to Johnson up. I think so too, and I think firemuth is a pretty solid like guy you can wait on and tied in. If you kind of get stuck doing that and then nausea, I think I think the whole Steelers offense has been undervalued. I kind of want to be like overweight on that Steelers offense a little bit, just in general, like I kind of think they'll be an offense that I'll use a lot in DFS this year, just stacking wise. I think they'll be pretty cheap to stack every week, especially early in the year. Yeah, I'd be curious to their week. One matchup is. But yeah, I, I'd like the jail and Warren and I honestly turn. I thought about him. Just seemed a little bit like a deep sleeper for me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's deep, for sure it's a deep sleeper, but I don't.

Speaker 4:

I think it's one of those guys that he's a guy who, if you're going RB Zero, I do not mind taking a lot of a lot of flyers on can.

Speaker 1:

I mention something here you mentioned. You said Pat fryer mooth. I think he looked good. Yeah, obviously he had a touchdown. He ended last year as a tied in eight, from what I see, and that wasn't a year where the I would say the Steelers offense struggled right. Like, do you extend? We all had him around eight and nine in our rankings. Do you expect just I don't know, kind of like sitting feeling out the Steelers offense, do you expect him to be a little bit higher than that? Could you see him be top five?

Speaker 4:

Hmm, Somewhere between like.

Speaker 1:

I know this is a sleeper.

Speaker 4:

Like six, seven, eight, I don't know. Like I kind of feel like I don't know that's tough. I'd have to like really think about it.

Speaker 3:

You. If you want Pat Friarmooth, you absolutely have the opportunity to grab him. Grab him in every single draft, In my opinion. Yeah, I think so, Like, like he's Kenny Pickett's the guy that I'm getting more excited about too, though. Jordan, like George Pickens, looks really good. He had what's his name, Say. He's better, more athletic than Justin Jefferson. You see that he's making some crazy catches.

Speaker 4:

Phil, he didn't say yeah, he says more of a Ryan Clark, so he's a more more athletic, I thought more talent, more natural talent, yeah. Um, but I will say the Steelers do have a tough like start of the season. So like week one they play the Niners.

Speaker 1:

Like you're not going to be excited about the Steelers, that week Fantasy wise, like you're okay with that, because they're still going to have to, even though it's going to be tough for them to actually throw the ball. If they're getting beat, they're still going to be throwing the ball, right? True, true.

Speaker 4:

I don't know if the Niners are good enough to really offensively, are going to be good enough to really blow teams out but I'm just saying like defense, like holding them down, Hold it. They have the Browns Sunday night football looks like the following week, and then Steelers and then Raiders. So like there, that's a sweet spot. They got like the Texans a week for that's the guarantee I have a lot of Steelers and I hope also the Steelers don't do good. The first couple of weeks keeps the prices on them low, and then that week that week four. Man, that's going to be a load up spot.

Speaker 3:

You might even find Jaylen Warren on your waiver wire week four, going into that Texans game. Yeah, after you know the 49ers and stuff like that, if someone has an injury they might have to drop. You know a hand cuff.

Speaker 4:

They don't have the easiest schedule in the world. Looking at it Like it is a tough schedule You've been high on the Steelers offense, though for quite some time.

Speaker 1:

I think more people are getting there, though you get what I'm saying, yeah.

Speaker 4:

That kidney like especially if Kenny pinnicks pick it starts picking up steam here as we get towards like the season. As far as like ADP and stuff, Trent might need to bring back that a kidney pick it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I might need to bring that back, because when I said that a few about a month ago, yeah, that you really were getting high on him, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Seth. I'm going to, so I'm going to go. I'm going to come back to you, jordan, I'm going to go with you. Seth, I don't know, do you guys consider this a sleeper? I think he probably should still be considered a sleeper. But, seth, I want you to talk on your guy here, your first pick.

Speaker 5:

So I'm going to go with Jared Goff as my sleeper. I think, if we're going by all the different drafts that I have seen, I'm seeing Jared Goff go. He's later than around the around the 10th quarterback taken. He's about in the 11th round. I'm seeing people draft over him that. I hear some guys that I think he could be. Anthony Richardson is the one above him. I think he's going to have a better year than that. So take that for what it's worth. Geno Smith very potential can have a better year than him. Yeah, I think he could have a better year than Daniel Jones, aaron Rogers, deshaun Watson for sure Like Deshaun Watson, I see, is pretty high in this draft. So I and also, like we all know how good the Lions offense is, and if we kind of go to Jared Goff stats from last year, let me see if I have them up.

Speaker 3:

He's going after Daniel Jones in a lot of drafts. He's going after Geno Smith, Anthony Richardson, Dak Prescott, Deshaun Watson.

Speaker 4:

You like Kirk Cousins more than Goff Seth we like.

Speaker 3:

Goff more than Kirk.

Speaker 4:

What is Kirk?

Speaker 3:

Cousins going on here, kirk.

Speaker 5:

Cousins is going before him. Let me just let me pull up. Let me pull up Goff this year. Let me pull up his good year. I think it's possible he throws up another good year, like he did that year. The Rams won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3:

Well, I like the defense. Like the defense isn't the NFC North, don't really scare me. That's one thing I like about Goff. You have a lot of dumb games, seth. What are you trying to pull up? Sorry, sorry.

Speaker 1:

Tramps Seth. What are you trying to pull up so?

Speaker 5:

if you look at 2018, I think he threw 32 touchdowns in 2018. He threw 32 touchdowns in 2018 on the Rams. Last year, he threw 29 with seven. I think Jared Goff easily throws 30 touchdowns and he threw about for the same yards he did for the Rams that year. I think Jared Goff maybe throws for the most yards he does in his career this year because I think they're going to sling the ball a lot and I think he throws over 30 touchdowns and he had his lowest his lowest interception count since he did it in 2017.

Speaker 4:

Man, I'm going to have a lot of lines to access here, so it doesn't feel right. Seahawks Week 2, falcons Week 3,. Packers Week 4, lions Week sorry. Packers Week 4,. Panthers Week 5, buccaneers, week 6. That's a pretty good stretch for the line.

Speaker 5:

And that's what I'm saying. I think Jared Goff is going to be really good this year.

Speaker 4:

I also Go ahead, Seth Sorry.

Speaker 5:

So I think what I'm going to reiterate here is I think he's going to have a similar season. He did when they won the Super Bowl with the Rams in 2018. Is that right? They went in 2018?.

Speaker 1:

They did win it, but they went in 2018.

Speaker 5:

Okay, they won in 2017, right.

Speaker 3:

They didn't win when he was on the Devereux quarter-vac.

Speaker 5:

Okay, sorry, he went. They went twice or once Okay so when sorry they didn't win, but they went in 2018. And Jared Goff had 40. Or almost 4,700 yards and 32 touchdowns, 12 interceptions. I think he easily throws 30 touchdowns this year and kind of puts up that same performance and that would put him that year he finished at QB6 and Rastery finished at QB10. I think he can actually finish close to QB5-6 this year.

Speaker 4:

Okay, so my only like thing that I would say is there's a lot of other good quarterbacks now. No, that's to Goff is. Is Lions defense better? Because what's made Goff so good the last couple years? Their defense is.

Speaker 5:

Their defense is ferocious.

Speaker 4:

They've been down in games. He has to throw the ball a lot. Is their defense better this year? And I've heard Lions whatever, like Lions Twitter, lions things say that their defense is going to be better this year. Is their defense better, which hurts them because they're they're winning games, or they're more competitive and they can run the ball more, where they don't have to just throw the ball Like they were having to throw the ball? Yeah, because they were down.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a good point, the whole entire game. Well, I don't know if their defense can be worse than last year, like I think it'll be better, but how much better we're gonna find out opening night.

Speaker 4:

You're gonna find it out.

Speaker 5:

I honestly Well, I mean, if you look at Jerichoff's bad year on the on Detroit, on the Lions, he had 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions and he threw about for 1200 less yards with 50 less attempts than he did before, or 50 less completions. So it's like hi, I think you have a point, jordan, I think he at least puts up the numbers he has last year. So I think he's safe being QB 10, kind of where we all have him ranked so, but I think he could also have that. If he has that performance, like he did in 2018, he could easily finish quarterback five. So if you want to wait for a quarterback, I think you easily wait for Jared Goff Because, like he said, trent, what you were saying earlier with Warren, I think if you want to draft Jared Goff, you can totally get him.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, no, absolutely. I've been doing a lot of mock drafts. You can get Goff anywhere you want to Like. If you want to get him, you can go out with Goff in a draft Like he's going 12-11. And I think for the talent on that team and like I don't know if the defense is going to be that much better. But I'm kind of excited for Jared Goff this year. I'm wondering if I don't get those. You know five quarterbacks I really want to get. I think I'm just going to wait till Goff is kind of the plan. So.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go with your first one.

Speaker 4:

I'm going to go. Romeo Doves, my first one Receiver's tough for me for sleepers, but this is a guy I mean, so I'll keep it short. Like I think Jordan Love is starting to look pretty good. I know it's preseason, but for someone in so much unknown with him he looks good. So I think he's someone who's I think that Packers maybe he doesn't rise up draft boards. I think the Packers weapons could, though Like, and he's the. He's the wide receiver too, there with Watson, it's what Christian Watson, romeo Doves there's not a whole lot behind them. There's Jaden Reed, the rookie out of Michigan State I think Michigan State Things second round draft pick, but Doves looks good. Last year, I mean, they were comparing him to Devonte Adams last year in Green Bay last training camp. He had an up and down rookie year, but I think overall is pretty solid. He was hurt. He was hurt for part of it. So, yeah, I think that I think there to be down a lot. They're going to have to throw the ball. So I like Doves, I think, where he's being drafted. Let's see, here he is. He's drafting pretty late, like it's almost like if you it's kind of like the jail and warrant thing, like if you want to draft him, you can draft him. Like you can draft him in your last round. His ADP, what's the type? Didn't wrong His ADP. That's why, sorry, it's 149. Yeah, oh, I'm seeing in PPR on sleeper, 166 and a half PPR 151. So yeah, basically you can draft him in whatever round you want.

Speaker 5:

Yep, I'm seeing go like in the very last rounds in all the mocks I've seen.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, or draft. I think he's a really good like fourth or fifth wide receiver way and a lot of upside, honestly.

Speaker 5:

I think Watson is being drafted pretty high, like top five rounds. The gap between them is tremendous and it's very possible that Watson is not the guy and it becomes Dubs. And Dubs is the guy and you got him in that later round, whereas Watson was like a round five valued pick and you got Dubs that low and he becomes the wide receiver one.

Speaker 4:

I can tell you why the gap is there because Watson was so good last year and there's so much unknown around Jordan Love. Can he support two wide receivers? Fancy wise, can he support two top 30 wide receivers? But he's looked solid last.

Speaker 3:

I was so excited about Dubs so many times last year and I hope it finally is this year, because I dropped him.

Speaker 4:

There was a lot more guys in Green Bay last year than there are now. True, the Zards not there. The Corpse of. Randall Cobb is not there.

Speaker 3:

I saw somewhere that Christian Watson has the most experience in that wide receiver room, which is wild.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, titan, wise like Tonion's, not there. They have a rookie Titan, so where is Tonion?

Speaker 3:

The Titan Musgrave. He's the fastest guy on the team or on the wide receivers room.

Speaker 4:

I think the Packers might be like cheap stacks that you might be able to have in DFS.

Speaker 1:

He's in the right matchups.

Speaker 3:

Speaking of DFS though I really like underdog guys. It is every day can be draft day. It's the best place to mock drafts. Yeah, best ball drafts. You just draft your team and forget it. Go over to underdog. Tell them the dude sent you inter promo code dudes. They will match up to $100. They've had some great plays on there. They had Anthony Richardson throwing for over a half a yard, all kinds of stuff like that. So go over to underdog inter promo code dudes. They'll match up to $100. All kinds of fun stuff there. Get a couple of best ball drafts in here right now. If you haven't done a best ball draft yet, do one before your draft. It really will help you out. Kind of see where people are going. It's people paying as little as $3 for a mock draft.

Speaker 5:

You can win money.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you can win money and they're taking it serious. It's not doing a mock draft against the computer like what we are here. So we do some underdog drafts on here also. So go ahead and check underdog out, guys. It really helps us out. Remember, don't be rude.

Speaker 1:

Share the dudes. So would you say, get some dubs, draft Romeo dubs, is that your?

Speaker 5:

motto Throw up the dub. Yeah, Draft Romeo dubs.

Speaker 1:

There you go, throw up the bears.

Speaker 4:

I saw that.

Speaker 1:

All right, trent, I'm coming back to you, my guy.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, speaking of the bears, I have Cole Comet here and I always I'm a tight end guy, Jordan, where I always throw a tight end into usually my A tight end guru over here. Yeah, ever since, yeah, I usually do it for my dudes, you do smoke in the. I don't think I'm going to have a tight end. Be on my dudes of like guys. I'm drafting though this year, which is kind of sad. It's kind of sad, but I have one as a sleeper here. Maybe it's not a sleeper, but looking at every draft I'm in and you know, adp Cole Comet is going in the round of 11. And I think the bears are going to be a lot better this year too. I think Fields Roshan Johnson. I think Fields might be kind of no, might be entering kind of that tier where he's really going to up it this year. He has DJ Moore. He really likes Cole Comet. Get a good tight end in the 11th round. He finished last year as tight end eight. I believe he had seven touchdowns last year. Multiple games with two yeah, multiple games with two. So I would get Cole Comet. He's going into year four and I don't know why I said it like that, but just got paid a bunch of money. He has the bag. So Cole Comet is a tight end. You can get late.

Speaker 5:

So and he went to Notre Dame.

Speaker 3:

Phil loves Irish.

Speaker 5:

And what was nice is they started to utilize him more at like the halfway point in the season it was around week eight is when he caught his first touchdown, and then after that his numbers exploded.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and he kind of did as good as Fields did. So I think with DJ Moore there that'll relieve some pressure. I think he'll be better. I'm excited about the Bears.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, another Bear. You want to move over to Jordan. You want to take yours.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I got Clil Herbert. This is Justin Herbert.

Speaker 3:

I was like Jordan that's not a sleeper. I wish you would have said it, he did not.

Speaker 4:

No, he did it RB 34, adp overall, adp of like 111 PPR, 108 half points. I just think this Bears offense has been a little undervalued. Like Trent kind of just said, I think the offense is better as a whole. I don't think Herbert has much competition behind him, phil.

Speaker 3:

X Rochon Johnson.

Speaker 4:

I do like Rochon Johnson, Thank you.

Speaker 1:

Jordan. This guy is not a believer here.

Speaker 4:

No, I like.

Speaker 1:

Rochon Johnson. But then I saw her face.

Speaker 4:

Deontay Foreman I'm not worried about. I think Herbert's the guy there. They can use him in the passing game. He's just really good. I think he's old. I think he's just a really good football player Very underrated pass. Very just talented. He can take one in the house, take a screen of the house 40. I think he did that first week of preseason at like a 40 yard touchdown catch Explosive player. I like him this year. I think they're going to tune, it's going to run the ball as much as they can Set up the, the, the read option for fields. So I like this quite a bit. I like him quite a bit. This year. I think he can be a top 20 running back, if I'm being honest.

Speaker 5:

So I think it was. What is it saying he's going to be at?

Speaker 4:

He's being drafted running back 34.

Speaker 3:

Okay, and he is the queer cat starter, right? Yeah, I don't think I'm not worried about.

Speaker 4:

I think Herbert is kind of separated himself.

Speaker 1:

Who is so? It's Khalil Herbert, deontay Foreman. Who's the other guy?

Speaker 4:

Roshan.

Speaker 1:

I thought. I thought that I saw Roshan listed as.

Speaker 5:

Travis Homer's on the team.

Speaker 1:

Travis Homer is on the team, you're right.

Speaker 5:

That means nothing, though he's a good special teams player.

Speaker 3:

He'll be on the special teams.

Speaker 1:

So Roshan, do you think Roshan is actually number two Jordan?

Speaker 4:

It's possible.

Speaker 3:

Maybe not. I haven't heard much about.

Speaker 4:

Deontay Foreman, like on on Twitter or anything like I've seen, or X, whatever we're calling it now Deontay Foreman kind of have a decent season after they traded McCaffrey.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he was decent. No, he was.

Speaker 4:

I just I've heard a lot about Roshan Johnson. I played Roshan. Speaking of Roshan, I think he was in my my lineup to take down some money yesterday, but I think I'd have to double check. Maybe it wasn't just flexing on us. I don't know if it was, actually I can't remember what slate that was, but um, yeah, no, I, I just I've heard a lot about Roshan. I've I've seen how good um Herbert is. So like Foreman played yesterday in the preseason game and he had, um Herbert got the night off, so Herbert played week one. Herbert did not play the yesterday and Foreman had three carries for 12 yards. Roshan Johnson had eight to eight carries for 43 yards.

Speaker 1:

Let's go.

Speaker 4:

So yeah, I mean the fact that Herbert got the night off and Foreman played, I think says a decent amount.

Speaker 1:

All right, I am going to Seth, give us your, give us your last guy here.

Speaker 5:

All right, my last uh sleeper I'm going to do DJ Chark. So DJ Chark, a redraft. Uh PPR is 179. Half point is 157. If you look at the depth chart for the Panthers, it has Adam Thielen as wide receiver one. Dj Chark is wide receiver two and then uh is Jonathan Mingo. I think is the guy they drafted out of Ole Miss.

Speaker 1:

Um and what? I uh and no. Who's the other guy, robbie Anderson, is he still there?

Speaker 5:

No, no, he's on the Cardinals, I think.

Speaker 3:

No, I think he's at the dolphins and I think he changed his name to Robbie Chosen. I think he changed his name Chosen Anderson. No, I think he changed it again. His last name is not chosen, I think it's. I think he's Robbie Chosen, though I think Interesting.

Speaker 5:

Okay, anyways, so let's get back to my sleeper. So look him up, trent. So DJ Chark, um had a, had a good. He had a a pretty good season out of um Detroit last year. I'm kind of sticking with the Detroit guys that I'm kind of high on, so he had a pretty good year playing behind um Almond Ross, st Brown, and I don't think Adam Thielen is going to be the wide receiver one in Carolina. I know Carolina's offense is not going to be the the high tier offense action. We've been one of the worst offenses but I think when they throw the ball DJ Chark is going to be the guy that's going to get it. I, from what I've read about Mingo is he has not really shown anything in preseason to where I think that he's going to be the threat for that guy. Adam Thielen has had two mediocre last seasons where it's like I don't really know if I'm going to trust him.

Speaker 1:

I don't think it's going to be. I think it might? I don't think it's going to be feeling like.

Speaker 5:

I don't think they're. He's going to be around wide receiver 29 and PPR and Chark is going to be 76. I think that might be reversed. So, I think you can trust DJ Chark. They're saying he's a wide receiver five. I think he could be a wide receiver three and a flex option for most guys. I think it's just going to take people a couple of games to realize that he is a wide receiver three and not a five. I think it's going to be a good one. I think it's going to be a good one, but I'm going DJ Chark here.

Speaker 4:

My only argument be that I think Adam yeah, I agree Adam dealers being drafted based on name value alone. He's in a down downgrade in offense and quarterback play, but I'm just really high on Jonathan Mingo this year, so I think that's where we Mean those like one of my favorite guys to draft late this year and like best ball and I Don't know how much I get to him and like redraft, just cuz I don't know if you'll need to get there, but like. But I like Mingo quite a bit this year and in the and him and young have had a good connection in camp.

Speaker 1:

The schedule is lean, decent, the decent passing offense for the Panthers, like if you just take a look at their schedule. Like yeah, I think that's a good, that's a, that's a solid pick there.

Speaker 5:

So I guess maybe maybe my counter argument to Jordan. I don't think Jordan's could be wrong, but I would say that maybe I think people why they aren't as high on Mingo as they I mean obviously Thelon's proven Right but Mingo, I guess, has just been quiet in his two performances and he has had a very strong training camp, though he's at a strong training camp but I guess gives him some hype. But his two, I think he's played a lot of a lot of the two preseason games and hasn't really done much.

Speaker 4:

But all then again, the Panthers offense isn't that it's hard because but the dropoff from Bryce young is like I mean, but they've been playing a lot of Mac Corral, so yeah, and he don't hasn't been played in preseason. I will say that Terence Marshall was hurt. I mean, there's definitely a lot of opportunity there for Chalk and Mingo playing, should they're gonna?

Speaker 3:

They're gonna, I feel a lot too.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, they're gonna chuck the ball so because they're gonna be down in games, yep. There's a lot of people who like the Panthers to win that division for what it's worth.

Speaker 3:

What it would shock me. I think it's the Saints.

Speaker 4:

I think Saints too, but I a lot of people are picking the Panthers to win that division. Just cuz a good money odds, or just cuz people are really believers in Bryce young and I kind of tend to agree with that.

Speaker 3:

He didn't look terrible yesterday. He made some.

Speaker 1:

Trent.

Speaker 3:

I Think anyone in that division. You wouldn't shock me if any team in that division won the division.

Speaker 5:

I know, but you just I think I would agree with the Saints is kind of, I think, closer there.

Speaker 3:

Just all around football team. Yeah well, we should jump into this mock draft here, guys, we got 10 rounds and just give you a little taste. Here we got one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers and a flex couple bench spots. So let's start this puppy off, phil. Any other any final words, for we hit before I hit. Start Phil.

Speaker 1:

No, I think we can go, we can. We can get this show on the road.

Speaker 5:

Phil, what is your, what is your profile picture?

Speaker 1:

I don't know, it's just some random guy. Apparently he's like big on tiktok. I don't know who he is, so you made him your his name is chosen. Oh, this is dumb.

Speaker 3:

This is dumb. We have what's done. I'm gonna redo it. I'm redoing this, don't you think, jordan?

Speaker 5:

Did you? Is there like is there a skill level you can do for?

Speaker 4:

where you can randomize, like take off the training wheels.

Speaker 3:

Uh-huh sort of let's just, let's just, let's just feed it a little bit better. There we go team one took Justin Jefferson, then I went to March Chase being Christian McCaffrey.

Speaker 4:

I'm on the guys. I was gonna get just Jefferson at four.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and that's not unreal yeah.

Speaker 5:

No, unless you draw, jordan was gonna be mad that his team was good.

Speaker 3:

I'm gonna go with this.

Speaker 5:

He's gonna go Travis Kelsie.

Speaker 3:

I knew it at 1 4.

Speaker 5:

I'm going Tyree, kill baby.

Speaker 4:

Can we?

Speaker 5:

meet your whatever me oh.

Speaker 3:

I've done this again.

Speaker 1:

It's the TV. It's the TV, oh.

Speaker 3:

I kind of like it, though you don't like the noise in the background. It's annoying. I'm going with John.

Speaker 5:

I'm just the guy who left his smoke alarm on. Wait, hold on, hold on before before Jordan talks, jordan also his car beeps while we're driving. What?

Speaker 4:

is that You're kidding me? No, it's, it's, there's a there's like a computer glitch with the brake light comes on, and so it beeps.

Speaker 5:

So and but that bothers him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

I can't fix. I've asked. I've asked the guy. They said there's nothing wrong with my brakes, it's computer glitch.

Speaker 5:

What about? What about the shade thing that is broken? You can fix that. It's covering half the windshield that he missed coming.

Speaker 4:

No kidding me.

Speaker 1:

Jordan. What in the name I want it? Don't bother me guys.

Speaker 3:

Seth, why did you drive? You were borrowing your brother-in-law's truck. This because All right, so it went. I took Travis Kelsie at four, then it went. Austin Echler. Seth took Tyree kill at six, cooper cup at seven. Phil took Bijan Robinson at eight, then it went. Say quen Barkley. Stefan digs Jordan's on the clock. He has a minute left.

Speaker 4:

I'm gonna try something here. I'm gonna go Nick Chubb here.

Speaker 3:

Okay, okay, you're on the back end Nick Chubb, followed by CD lamb, then AJ. Braille's first team first guy in the second at the turn. Jordan's back on the clock, I think you take um, I Know I know he should. Let's not try to use like all our time on this mock draft.

Speaker 5:

I'm gonna go up. That's right, baby.

Speaker 3:

That's it, I know right there, henry Patrick Mahomes at 2, 4. Now Phil is up at 2 5.

Speaker 1:

I am up here, I'm gonna go with, I'm going with the Vaunte Adams.

Speaker 3:

Derek Henry went at 2 3, followed by Jonathan Taylor Seth's back on the clock here which is an interesting oh, I mean it's I'm going to receivers here to left the facility right.

Speaker 4:

He's still being dropped. Yeah, yeah, I Set to Garrett Wilson Jalen hurts going with the two receiver strategy here.

Speaker 5:

I think that's kind of nice. When you're in the middle of the draft, I think you have an option to get two really good receivers.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, you're right I honestly probably could have gone spot six.

Speaker 3:

I took Jalen waddle fall by Josh Jacobs.

Speaker 5:

I'm nervous about the pot a.

Speaker 3:

Adams, josh Allen, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I think they are gonna force feed him for what it's worth, but also, like they, the amount of touchdowns they project him to have. I think that's high.

Speaker 1:

I could. I could have almost gone with digs where I went and then gosh. I hate team.

Speaker 4:

Team three draft is so bad Transburner.

Speaker 3:

Ramon just evens in with 3 1, nausea Harris 3 2, breeze Hall at 3 3. So team 3 has CMC, josh Jacobs and breeze hall having CMC. It's a bad draft at 3, 4. Here I'm going to take Chris a la ve, so I've tried.

Speaker 5:

I think it's like that's a trend kind of draft right there. That's like a signature. Trent draft.

Speaker 4:

Right, it's a trend draft five years ago for sure, oh, absolutely five minutes ago.

Speaker 5:

So your truth, come on so listen, this is my hip predicament here. It's like the top. I mean I could go Travis ETN here and get a solid running back, but I did see that they're gonna play tank bigs be a lot.

Speaker 4:

Well, I'm sorry to really like tank what Doug Peters he's good I Is that he thinks, though ease tank is being along start the year and then he thinks love, a significant role towards end of the year, which also tells me that just they're gonna want Travis ETN healthy, going fresh way into playoffs.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, you're saying here.

Speaker 4:

I think he ends the guy, though, like he is the guy there.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think normally I would get a running back here like a solid running back in the third round, but I'm actually gonna get three solid receivers and go for it's like a zero RB strategy here and I'm gonna draft Devonta Smith.

Speaker 1:

I like it.

Speaker 3:

Okay Smith ETN failure. Back on the clock, brother.

Speaker 1:

I think my draft looks exactly like it did before. I'm gonna go DK Metcalf here.

Speaker 5:

I don't know if I'm drafting DK that much here this year, phil actually you know what just can he redo his pen.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, no, we're not letting you redo it, no, Is been. People are loving him or you can get him in the next round.

Speaker 2:

I was excited my jerseys coming in my jerseys coming in soon, I did go.

Speaker 5:

I got, I got one of the retro ones.

Speaker 1:

Jordan's on the clock.

Speaker 5:

Has he ordered.

Speaker 1:

I'm not gonna say it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I did not like where I'm at right now.

Speaker 1:

Just draft in life, or are you talking about the draft?

Speaker 5:

I'm not gonna be, talking baby both. Just just got it.

Speaker 1:

Cookies and dial it up, baby. Look, I got him to pick Calvary.

Speaker 3:

Okay, jordan took Calvin Ridley, followed by Joe mix and Debo Samuel on the fourth and then Jordan's back on the clock. That's just peer pressure. He started talking about whipped cream and he hit enter real quick whipped cream.

Speaker 4:

I didn't hear that part, that any of that brain. Phil said that.

Speaker 1:

Jordan's team name is whip daddy, whipping Naenae that, phil stop. What's the name of the?

Speaker 5:

whip cream. Is that the song is? Correct me if I'm wrong. That is a song. Well same with the whipped cream brain.

Speaker 4:

What is that one ready whip yeah yeah, man guys, this is tough ready with a spot here, it's all the guy Jordan's getting ready with watch me whip, watch me Naenae.

Speaker 1:

I was right, that's the song. That's a Jordan.

Speaker 4:

I don't love. I don't love say Brown and Gibbs, but I don't really know what else to do there.

Speaker 3:

So Jamar Jamir Gibbs, followed by Aaron Jones and Mari Cooper, feels back on the clock. I'm with a solid catch.

Speaker 1:

Ken Allen with a solid catch in a Preseason games. You guys see that when you didn't play today cool, it was last week cool.

Speaker 3:

Just because you see a thing on Twitter, phil, doesn't mean it happened like an hour ago.

Speaker 5:

Just so you know it could be probably just redowloaded Twitter anyways, I did just redownload Twitter.

Speaker 1:

No, no, twitter's one of those ones I keep on there. Um, let's see here what do we got here?

Speaker 3:

Just go, kenneth walk. Guys, this is a learning process. Okay, this is a mock draft, so don't be afraid of mistakes. Okay, we'll bring it to light. It's okay, it's only a mock. Yeah, you don't have to take your full five minutes. Please stop talking. Right now. Phil has Bijan Robinson, devonte Adams, dk Metcalf. What are you taking next, phil?

Speaker 4:

Someone else. That sucks.

Speaker 3:

Hey Bijan, look pretty good this week. Chill out whipped cream boy. He's not even talking. It is amazing you can multitask this good Phil, like I'm honestly impressed like you sure go man researching players.

Speaker 5:

He's like actually treating like he's actually, I know, and it's a mock draft.

Speaker 3:

I told him we're gonna learn here. Okay, he took Drake London. Hey, I don't mind it. Maybe a little orderly, joe bro.

Speaker 5:

All right. Oh, I think Maybe playing into the Carolina pick a sleeper I had earlier. I'm gonna go Miles Sanders here.

Speaker 3:

Okay, you're seeing my Sanders, followed by Keenan Allen.

Speaker 4:

Trans. Go get her trans thing and take Kenneth Walker.

Speaker 5:

You do need an RB Trent.

Speaker 3:

I'm really getting, I'm seeing how this works.

Speaker 5:

Justin Fields at 4 9 fall by team 3 is really fun to watch. Watch kid.

Speaker 4:

Oh, DJ Hawkins and J.

Speaker 3:

K Dobbins.

Speaker 4:

Team 3 might be Phil's burner. This is what Phil did last week, but he did wide receivers.

Speaker 5:

Same position receivers is better than going for running because you can play four of them.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Did you drive like not?

Speaker 1:

you cannot play four wide receivers in this thing.

Speaker 5:

I think, as soon as you know this is a two and one.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's too too to inflect so, like he's calling Travis Kelsey a wide receiver, he's a tight injured. Can you pull up, let's know?

Speaker 4:

I'd say team 3 has four running backs. They're four first picks. You did that last week. You took four receivers For two weeks ago. Okay, I'm up so far five.

Speaker 3:

The fifth round with J K Dobbins, terry McLauren, the Andre Hopkins. I took Alexander Madison. The fifth you're sawed by Christian. Watson, now Seth's backup.

Speaker 1:

You don't like Madison in this draft.

Speaker 5:

Nope, I'm gonna go cam makers here. I kind of like these two running backs not being the high, most high profile guys, but guys that'll get you pretty consistent points, with my receivers mostly contributing to my point total.

Speaker 3:

Cam makers. Then it went. Dj Moore fills back on the clock, so we're gonna hit a little intermission here. Actually, we're talking about this. You know we're talking doing a draft. Right now, the best place to get your fantasy football trophies is trophies Mac. Go over to trophies Maccom. Forward slash dudes 15% off your whole entire order. You can get a custom belt like the one we have set that has brass knuckles on it for dino Dudes. There's all kinds of stuff you can get last place awards, loser punishments, participation ribbons for all the guys in your league that you beat, all kinds of trophies. You can put a unicorn on a trophy. They have a toilet, all kinds of stuff. Skies the limited trophies Mac. But after you go to trophies Maccom, please enter that. Forward slash dudes really helps us out. It helps you out too, guys. So, phil, what are you?

Speaker 1:

doing. I'm figuring this out, he's fumbling right now. I'm just gonna go. This is way too early for him.

Speaker 3:

It's a 10 round draft, though you gotta remember that we're around we're halfway through round five, so like guys like Jared Goff aren't even gonna be like on the board. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, take a running back. Oh, phil, sorry.

Speaker 1:

I'm already the I really okay, I'm gonna go with this one. You guys are gonna mock.

Speaker 3:

Javante Williams. No, I don't, I don't hate that.

Speaker 1:

I Just like him he's. He's definitely the starter there.

Speaker 3:

He doesn't get hurt. True, everybody. Jerry Judy, followed by him the Andre Swift at team 10. I feel like a little piece of Seth died seeing that just now.

Speaker 4:

I hate my draft. This is horrible.

Speaker 3:

You're at the 11th, so you have two lines.

Speaker 1:

Trevor Lawrence you all, let's go.

Speaker 3:

I don't hate that Kyle Pitts at 6-1. Now we got 6-2 back with Jordan Dallas Goddard. I hate my draft. This is why you mock draft, though make your mistakes now and I really love my team right now. Chris Godwin at 6-3. Darren Waller 6-4. What are you doing here, phil? I am Justin Herbert, still on the board. I definitely reached. Maybe on fields. Cuz Lawrence was the only other quarterback that went right there.

Speaker 4:

Oh, there is not to go on over, herbert, it's cuz I had a, really, so it makes more sense. Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

I'm taking Herbert.

Speaker 3:

Seth's on the clock.

Speaker 1:

It really bought. Trent, you have those peanut butter pretzels here. You didn't even offer them while we're doing this draft, phil you know my rules.

Speaker 3:

If you see food, you can have it.

Speaker 4:

You don't have to ask, get up and get it right now, you've got it up to go to the bathroom and hand me some from probably don't be chewing in the mic, though Get me some please.

Speaker 3:

No one wants to hear you guys smacking in the mic. I mean, I don't just really like don't crunch in the mic.

Speaker 5:

This is like this is like the round where I don't feel comfortable with any of these guys. I will get some in a second.

Speaker 3:

He's drafting no, no, I don't want those covered. Phil, get him off the table. You can go see this.

Speaker 5:

You know what I'm going to go with a home pick here JSN baby. Okay, JSN followed by. Dalvin Cook he's been handing those now. Yeah, he's still crunching in the mic. This is not a sponsor, but these are amazing peanut butter pretzels.

Speaker 3:

Take Rashad White, followed by Mike Williams, brandon Ayukhaseyapacheco, tyler Lockett, desean Watson, marquis Brown, desean Watson. I don't know if you guys are good enough to like eat and not talk, and that's not great for a podcast.

Speaker 1:

Just so you know, no, I'm uh this is a family pod you know.

Speaker 3:

George Pickens, christian Kirk Seth's back on. So, jordan, what do you think of my drafts? There's just a little two all over the place. Non-nuff receiver heavy.

Speaker 4:

I don't hate your drafts. I'm being honest.

Speaker 3:

I like it a lot better than mine. I'm trying to. I think I'm getting excited about JSN Fields. Hmm, I feel like Waddle might have some regression this year. Yeah, but but I heard a funny stat the other day that Waddle had less receptions last year than he did the year before, which makes sense. Yeah.

Speaker 4:

We thought the same thing about Waddle last year with Tyreek there and didn't really matter. Yeah, seth took a Ingram, team seven took Kamara. Philly on the clock, philly on the clock, so put your pretzels down.

Speaker 3:

I was thinking about taking Kamara there, but I wasn't sure Phil drafts better when he's eating. He took Jordan Addison at seven eight.

Speaker 5:

What do you guys think Kamara's role is when he comes back?

Speaker 3:

I think it's. I don't know, maybe hot hand he's kind of old.

Speaker 5:

That's why I think I'm just staying away from it right.

Speaker 4:

I took a Johan Dotson. I don't know what you two are healing about over there. Phil said Waterboy like it.

Speaker 5:

Did you Fresh Scott Finn Minwint? How high of a reach was Dotson right there Like who did who?

Speaker 4:

what would the guys above that. I didn't take Dianthe or Michael.

Speaker 3:

Pittman, I don't think Dotson's a reach. I wanted to say Dotson is a sleeper, but he wasn't within our parameters of being, you know, 10th round or later.

Speaker 4:

And that's where he's going. James Cook in the eighth. I don't hate that.

Speaker 3:

I like that.

Speaker 4:

I think those are two favorite picks in my whole draft.

Speaker 3:

Pat Friarmouth in round eight Dianthe. Johnson eight four. I think Cook's the best one.

Speaker 1:

Phil, you're on the clock. I need to tie it in. I'm going to go with Kincaid.

Speaker 3:

Hey, that's like eight rounds later than what you got him the last time we did a draft together. So good job.

Speaker 1:

I'm improving.

Speaker 3:

Seth, you're back on the clock. Antonio Gibson went after.

Speaker 5:

I think this is kind of a round where you want to take someone who has the potential. I think I'm going to wait on a quarterback here. I'm going to get a Kaderius Tony here and just see if he has the chief's magic.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so I'm on the clock here. Who went in between me there? Berks Traylon, berks Berks went. So quarterbacks available right now is two attack of Iowa Anthony Richards, kurt Cousins, aaron Rodgers, geno Smith, daniel Jones and Aaron Rodgers or Jared Goff, sorry, um, what running backs do I have here? I have white and Mattson. I take Clio Herbert. I don't have a reach, but I like it, followed by Brandon.

Speaker 4:

Cooks, I do think you could have got him in the right hair track.

Speaker 3:

Gabe Davis, Quentin Johnson, AJ Dillon, Zach Charbonnet, David N'Joku.

Speaker 1:

I think I thought I thought I'd know who you're going to pick up here, but I think you have a couple of running backs. Are you not in the Rashad Penny business anymore, Trent?

Speaker 3:

I don't mind Rashad Penny, but I have three running backs and I have two wide receivers and I don't really see like.

Speaker 1:

I'll go with Michael Thomas, come on.

Speaker 5:

Joe Jordan. I saw Devon A chain gear here, kind of like in the Elijah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I feel like body slam, so it's like a shoulder thing.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it says undergoing imaging. I took Elijah more, but that would be a bummer.

Speaker 4:

You know like yeah, I don't think it was that big of a deal, but we'll see.

Speaker 3:

Elijah Moore, followed by Michael Thomas Seth's on the clock. I'm hearing some good buzz about Elijah Moore. I know Jordan's not a huge Watson guy and maybe Seth's not either, but they're saying he looks pretty good. He wasn't terrible in New York two years ago, so I'm hoping was he a first-year-old draft pick.

Speaker 4:

In second and third. I really liked Elijah Moore in college. Yeah, he had been.

Speaker 3:

Matt Corral yeah, I liked him too, so I'm thinking we might see a little resurgence there.

Speaker 5:

Who else is the other running back on?

Speaker 3:

He's my fourth running my fourth wide receiver.

Speaker 5:

Who's the other? Oh, it's Antonio Gibson. Huh man.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to go Ryan.

Speaker 5:

Robinson.

Speaker 3:

Ryan Robinson, followed by Tua, fills back on the clock. Phil, you do have a quarterback. You have Justin Herbert. Uh-huh, Bad news we do not have a draft this week. We are going to record a draft tonight so that we can have one in two weeks.

Speaker 4:

You guys can blame Phil for that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Phil had a tummy ache.

Speaker 1:

You guys couldn't do a draft without me. See, that's what I'm talking about. The people around me were struggling in my absence. I'm taking a Rashad penny.

Speaker 3:

Followed by Zay Flowers, juju Smith, schuster, jordan, you're up here.

Speaker 5:

Oh, it's just as horrible, trent.

Speaker 1:

did you talk about like? Did you weep when Zeke signed with New England? What happened there?

Speaker 3:

We didn't talk about that.

Speaker 1:

That happened this week though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, we yeah. So I don't hate it, it's definitely. I think it hurts for Mondre a little bit. I know Zeke's a shell of himself Again. The reporters actually say Zeke looked pretty good in practice, but what it's been? Three days so you can't really say anything.

Speaker 4:

It's no one, alan Lazard.

Speaker 3:

Alan Lazard, followed by Anthony Richardson, Samaj P Rhine, then your backup, Jordan.

Speaker 4:

I'll just go for the brand Romeo Dubs. I didn't draft him. Why didn't I draft him, since I just took him as a sleeper?

Speaker 3:

I'll just draft him, followed by Jamal Williams, kurt Cousins what do you got here, seth?

Speaker 1:

It's me.

Speaker 3:

Oh sorry, phil. Phil took Russell Wilson. I'm sorry by Dalton Schultz. I did that more for Founta rather than anything else, but no one said anything. I'm gonna go. Jared Goff Okay, is that your first quarterback, nice?

Speaker 1:

Yep. Why in the world?

Speaker 3:

do you take two quarterbacks? I did that as a joke.

Speaker 4:

the last one, the last one I did as a joke. Obviously, If I was gonna ask, I would say I was gonna take two quarterbacks.

Speaker 1:

I was gonna take two quarterbacks. I was gonna take two quarterbacks. Obviously, if I was gonna actually pick someone in that round, I think I was gonna go with. I was going to go with.

Speaker 5:

I think I would have went, daniel Jones.

Speaker 3:

I go with Skymore, just take a punt on, you know, one of my home's receivers, followed by Aaron Rodgers, Kym Setten and James.

Speaker 1:

I almost would like P-Rhyne to be honest with you, just as like if I was gonna have Javante, just tie him in with him.

Speaker 4:

P-Rhyne already got drafted though, hey, Trent.

Speaker 5:

I like your, I really like your team.

Speaker 3:

So I have Travis Kelsey, Jalen Waddle, Chris Alave, Jessen Fields, Alexander Madsen, Rashid White, George Pickens, Cleo Herbert, Lysha, Moore Skymore. Got all the Moors there, Seth, you have.

Speaker 4:

Tyreek Hill how do you say white, though? What's his first name? Trent.

Speaker 3:

Rashid Rashad, tyreek Hill for Seth Garrett Wilson, devonta Smith. You see that person got all mad that we were saying Devonta Smith wrong, is it Devonte?

Speaker 5:

I think it's Devonta.

Speaker 3:

A person went off on Instagram. We had a good reel go off on Instagram this week and this person said you don't know how to read Devonta. It's Devonta Smith, not Devonta, and I wanted to be like Pretty sure it's Devonta.

Speaker 5:

Because I'm pretty sure it would end in A-E.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so Seth has Tyreek Hill. Garrett Wilson, devonta Smith, miles Sanders, cam Akers, jackson Smith, najibah, evan Ingram, cadarius, tony Brian Robinson, jared Goff, phil, you have Bijan Robinson. It's literally Devonta. Yeah, idiot Phil has Bijan Robinson. Devonta, devonta Adams, dk, metcalf, trekk, london, Givonte Williams, jessen, herbert, jordan, asin, who? At? What is Dalton Kincaid? I want to say Dawson Knox.

Speaker 1:

Rashad.

Speaker 3:

Penny, russell Wilson, jordan had Nick Chubb, amonra, st Brown, calvin Ridley, jameer Gibbs, trevor Lawrence, dallas, goddard, jaheem Dotson, james Cook, Alan Lazard and Romeo Dubs.

Speaker 4:

By far the worst shot I've had in the last two months.

Speaker 3:

What pick, though, do you have, jordan, that you're like? That's where the train fell off the tracks.

Speaker 5:

Is it round four Was it round one. It was round one.

Speaker 3:

It might have been Chubb it honestly might have been Chubb.

Speaker 1:

Why'd you go with Chubb?

Speaker 4:

It honestly might have been Chubb, because I think I could have. I just wanted to see how good of how it went if I took Chubb. But honestly I think I could have went AJ Brown, chubb. I think I could have started AJ Brown in the first round, chubb in the second round and I think I'd feel better about that. I just also like round four was brutal, like I did not like anybody, like that whole, like look at this section right here, mixin' Samuel Gibbs Jones, cooper. Like I should just reach for somebody because I should have.

Speaker 3:

That's what I do. Jordan, drake, jordan, what I'm noticing Jordan is round four is where I'm like in that, like no man's land, where there's no one I like, and it's like you go by ADP, you're mad at yourself.

Speaker 4:

So I'm like I'm just going to reach on Justin Fields here it's the same thing, though in four, five, six I hated my picks.

Speaker 3:

Like I took Lawrence because it's like Damian Pierce, like Pitts, goddard, goddwin Waller, herbert Conner, yeah, like Dalvin Cook, like that's why I reached on Colliel Herbert, because it's like I'm going to get somebody I actually like rather than go ADP. You know, I think round four might be the hardest one.

Speaker 4:

Seventh, eighth, I like my Dotson Cook, Like I don't mind, it's just I, just my four, five, six is brutal. I don't mind. One, two, three, four, five, six Gibbs Lawrence, Goddard, which is brutal.

Speaker 3:

Phil, do you ever think DK Metcalf will make it outside of the third round when you're not, when you're here during a mock draft?

Speaker 1:

No, I think. I think I speak for the, the 12s as a whole. Like DK, Metcalf doesn't fall out of the third.

Speaker 4:

Team one's draft is really bad for having Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 3:

Well, and thinking about how bad it would have been if we wouldn't have given him Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 4:

Team three has a brutal draft too, yeah yeah. So team two. Honestly, I don't like this draft. Honestly, I think I do think the computer messes some of these up. I think Trent has the best draft here. I think he does too.

Speaker 3:

It's about time, but uh, I don't hate you Seth, yeah, so what do you feel about mine?

Speaker 1:

I?

Speaker 4:

don't like your third running back. Uh uh. I'm not a fan of your running backs outside of Javante.

Speaker 3:

Are you like? You aren't sold on Bijan yet, jordan.

Speaker 4:

Not where he, not where he's being drafted. Okay, Things being over overdrafted.

Speaker 3:

I think he's gonna be really good. I'm still kind of worried that Arthur Smith might do a hot hand approach at some point.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think people are acting like he's going to be get 25 carries and he looked he looked really good though, mr Mustache, he looked really good, how about?

Speaker 1:

20 bucks. 20 bucks. That might be my Diva of the week. Did you guys see that that?

Speaker 4:

Instagram.

Speaker 1:

Let's just go into the literally talk about this in the pod before I have but the but it. You guys have been like huh him hauling around like not active.

Speaker 3:

We're now going to Diva's the week for new list.

Speaker 4:

I don't say one thing about Bijan. Taking Bijan over say Juan is really dumb. In my opinion, the safety of say Juan is so much higher than Bijan.

Speaker 5:

I think so Are you right.

Speaker 3:

I'm say Juan, though.

Speaker 4:

No, I think in a better offense with a better quarterback In a way safer role.

Speaker 1:

Wait, he's getting. He's almost guaranteed. You know what you're going to get. You know what you're going to get almost guaranteed 20 touches a game. Yeah, I hate when you're right Okay.

Speaker 4:

You must hate it a lot, hate things a lot.

Speaker 3:

You must hate your life, then, phil.

Speaker 1:

No, anyways, I'm always like I don't like my spot in your life.

Speaker 3:

So let's get into divas and, for new listeners, this is just things that tick us off during the week, the month in life. In general, things are divas of the week, so we each usually have one. So, phil, what's your diva of the week that you're going to go on repeat here?

Speaker 1:

No, I mean, I've already said that I hate I absolutely hate the prices at games Like that's why I'd almost rather watch some of the games in the comfort of my own home, like sporting events, like you can't get a, what are you talking about? 20 bucks, though, let me get there. Let me get there. This is a story, my friend. It costs so much to buy a helmet of nachos, a hot dog For $20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. There was a pretzel, chicken fingers and fries, I think there was a hot dog and, I think, nachos, so there were four items that that person purchased for $20.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and that's what the owner said there, that like and it's the same at the Braves games that they're going to have affordable food at ball parks, are you going to switch to all Atlanta teams now, falcons and Braves, just in case you're in the stadium.

Speaker 1:

If I live near there like I would. I am like.

Speaker 4:

Don't tip this guy to switch teams Phil becoming an Atlanta Braves fan would be so perfect. Like it would fit him to a tee. I'm actually.

Speaker 5:

I'm going to the Dodgers Braves game this next month and I'm fully prepared. I spent 50 something bucks on my ticket. I'm fully prepared to spend more money on food than I did for my ticket.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Like it's going to happen. $50 ticket. You probably will spend more on food.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm fully prepared for it and it's going to be great.

Speaker 1:

I want to pull up all the different things.

Speaker 5:

That's partially why I bought a cheaper ticket.

Speaker 4:

It's a popcorn, soda, pretzel, pizza, size of pizza, nachos, hot dog and three chicken tenders and fries.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's that like makes life enjoyable.

Speaker 3:

You can't get that at a grocery store.

Speaker 5:

You couldn't know, I don't know, could you even get that at Costco for 20 bucks no, no, absolutely not. You could man man Phil.

Speaker 1:

Thank you, and that's all I'm saying. Why don't we go?

Speaker 5:

to a game there. Yeah, Atlanta, why don't we take a?

Speaker 3:

we should be a couple of road dogs. You know, go to Georgia. That'd be fun.

Speaker 1:

You guys have proven yourself by driving to Georgia. He is a busy Georgia. Well, you can go to any sport event in that stadium. It's the same passing yeah, correct, no, no, no. When he went to the Georgia game Georgia versus Oregon, I think Oregon is ranked like top five. I think it was the top five real quick after that spanking.

Speaker 3:

But this story's gone too far. It's cool, it's 20 bucks, but what's your point? You're just mad at inflation, or what?

Speaker 1:

No, I'm mad at, no, I'm mad at greed. That's what I'm mad at, and you should be mad at greed too, trent, that's. Don't just sit here giggling away that the fact that you have to spend 20 bucks for a Dodger dog which you said was sub par, by the way.

Speaker 3:

It was a bad Dodger dog, so that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Like let's, let's have some reasonable prices, and they know that people are going to spend more because they're going to be able to enjoy it. You know what I'm saying. Like I, just I am, I'm all in on the lower prices or more affordable prices, like the ball game. Used to be a man, like a simple man, like blue collar, you know, like you know, just a normal guy could, could afford a baseball game and go and enjoy it with his family, have a, you know, have a soda, have a, you know, a drink, potentially some food, and it wouldn't cost him over 150 bucks, you know what. I'm saying I think we need to go back to those days Like in Mercedes Benz stadium.

Speaker 4:

understands that and coming from that place like a cheeseburger and nine bucks or eight bucks for a burger. That's not bad either, and it's Mercedes.

Speaker 1:

Benz. When you think of Mercedes Benz, you think of luxury. Right, and they probably have.

Speaker 3:

They probably have too far, phil Phil this is a diva the week You're not running for office, okay, so just chill out a little bit. Here. There's some pretzels passing the pretzels. Does anyone else have a? No, don't pass them to him.

Speaker 4:

He's not as fun when he's eating. I have a diva, trent, okay People who dude? What is wrong with you Like?

Speaker 3:

seriously, dude, like eat these after the pod. Like sitting next to a pig boy.

Speaker 4:

People who take. Uh, he's looking in the brand new. This boy has been derailed off the off the train tracks. People who bring brand new, unopened, like plastic water bottles to like their games or when they go work out, instead of like um reusing water like uh no, like, instead of like just getting like, uh, every fillable water, or like a Yeti or like, yeah, like, like a, you can just put water in. Like why are you like that's one that's expensive, like what? Like, yeah, if you're going out, like to someone's house or like you know, like you're taking it in the car, like I don't know, but like go to the gym every day or you have practice every day, and you're getting brand new water bottles every single time, seems to be exciting. Some people by some people walk in with like three of them and it's like just fill up a water bottle, like get a water bottle to fill up. But that's different there with the plastic water bottle because we're all sharing, like you know, like there's one, like multiple people, it's like I'm not sharing the water with you, just to be clear. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

We're like we're all using like no, and I'm not sharing the same bottle. Okay, yes, we get it. Okay, sit three more times.

Speaker 4:

Might be funny. The funny, the fourth time, yeah, so I don't know. I just think it's a little dumb, like if you're using brand new water bottles every single time you leave the house to go every day to go to the gym, or it's your practice.

Speaker 1:

And you're saying because of the monetary issues.

Speaker 4:

No, it just doesn't make any sense. Just sure, monetary issue. But also just fill up a water bottle. I don't know I get it, I get it.

Speaker 1:

Care for the earth?

Speaker 3:

No, I can get behind that it's not a strong diva, but I don't know, I don't think that's bad. Someone's nodding their head agreeing with you and their Toyota Tacoma Seth what are you? What do you? Got here All right.

Speaker 5:

So I actually told this one to Jordan in our car when we were driving to the high school game.

Speaker 4:

When someone stayed there.

Speaker 5:

Okay, when someone puts. When someone puts someone on the trade block and I send them a 48 hour trade.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

And they don't. They don't accept it or decline it or even when they put on the block and it's someone they put on the block or they don't even like. Text me about it or DM me through the app about it, Manage your your team. I'm like why would you put on the like? This was like 12 hours after they put someone on the block.

Speaker 3:

I'm like you're not sliding into their DMs Like they put wanted on this player.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, and I put in an offer and I got no response to even hear anything about it. It was a 48 hours.

Speaker 4:

Like you have 48 hours to look at your phone and yeah honestly, I think putting people in a trade block in general is kind of weird diva. If you want to trade somebody, send me a trade.

Speaker 3:

It makes more sense. I'm like it's a dynasty.

Speaker 4:

I think Sure yeah, but like in redraw.

Speaker 5:

it's just not. It's not responding to a trade Like just respond, just say no or accept it, like just decline it, or just say hey, send me something else.

Speaker 3:

It's a problem with society in general too, though. You know what I mean, but it's like you were the one asking for offers.

Speaker 5:

You were the one asking for offers and it's like it's. It's dumb if you saw it and didn't respond. Either Like, absolutely Like. If you saw it and you didn't like it, just say you didn't like it, or decline it, like you were obviously looking at it already. Or if you weren't like, then don't put them on the block because obviously you don't want to trade if you're not going to look at it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the same people that don't like respond to trades of players that they put on the block are the same people that think it's cool to draft remote Alpha's draft remote.

Speaker 1:

Alpha's draft remote Alpha's draft in person.

Speaker 3:

Alpha's draft in person, you're right, not draft remote Totally. This is a rough part, giordo. All right, my diva of the week besides himself besides me getting things mixed up, I got people who eat, people who eat on podcasts.

Speaker 1:

I think a lot of people are going to say people who gas up their own, their own votes on no no, no, I'm going to say Roger Goodell finding Kawan Alexander, $43,000 for a textbook tackle. Yes, textbooks tackle Was that 40 that he got, we got five 43,000 online.

Speaker 3:

That's what Barstool said. I've seen multiple sources say 43 grand, but that is a lot of money for a hit like that. Did you see, this hit Jordan In a preseason game. Who was it? Kawan Alexander?

Speaker 5:

Kawan Alexander hit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but it just gets fined all this money, fine hit on bucks. It doesn't even look like a helmet to helmet.

Speaker 4:

hit no it's so lame. Oh Kawan Alexander K1.

Speaker 5:

I got it right here, Jordan.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, it is an absolute joke.

Speaker 5:

I don't know, maybe this is an article.

Speaker 3:

Amount of video it's absolute travesty that Kawan Johnson if he really got fined $43,000, but it was a great hit and is here.

Speaker 4:

Here it is.

Speaker 1:

Jordan, he's a rookie.

Speaker 3:

I'm not sure if he's a rookie or not, but yeah, you can't, this is just a football play. The guy's playing football. Kawan Alexander is not a rookie. Yeah, I don't know. Phil said rookie.

Speaker 4:

I'm just you know he's been in the league for a while that's not bad at all.

Speaker 3:

Like no, that is not 43,000.

Speaker 5:

He doesn't even like his helmet hits the guy's face mask. It's so like, where else do you hit him?

Speaker 3:

It is so tiki tacky.

Speaker 5:

Or like do you, do you want him to go low and to completely destroy this guy's knees? Like yeah, it's, it's no good.

Speaker 1:

I think that I'm embarrassed. Jordan, you're right.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, it's like his seventh year in the league. Phil, I'm not editing that out either. And he's like you agree with me so that's all it, yeah, yeah. The fact that you were like no, he's not a rookie is also an indictment on you.

Speaker 3:

You know I have a friend here and I try to help him out. Every once in a while Throw him a bone. I'm sorry, I'm never doing that Honestly.

Speaker 1:

I, these guys should go on more road trips. I feel like they've been. They've come into the honestly, phil, you don't say anything stupid in your mouth full of pretzels, so I should just get these back here, Guys.

Speaker 3:

I think that kind of doesn't. I don't think there's anything else. We'll have a draft next week. Sorry about that, Remember, don't be rude. Share the dudes really helps us out. Seth, do you have any last words? You look like you got something Of anything. Phil, you want to say anything to defend your honor? No, I'm as always, guys take care.

Speaker 5:

Got to press the button there.

Speaker 2:
