I'll give him a pass, but like, this is the kind of thing when, like Keenan Allen, you know we all knew he was hurt, but Thursday night football he pointed at the camera and warm ups and said start me in fantasy football, put me in your lineups They went out there and just laid a stinker. At least he showed up. Right, it's true. But yeah, this is a similar situation. This is Phil's Keenan Allen moment. I would say. Is that a fair analogy?
Speaker 3:Yeah, he seemed like he was excited to say eight, 30.
Speaker 4:I was thinking this was more like a Tyron Taylor moment, where he went out for warm ups and the doctor punctured his lung and Justin.

I don't know if we maybe do something like that at Burris Park or something. It might be a fun time.
Speaker 4:What was the score? I was really bummed. It couldn't go. But what was the score of your team?

Speaker 3:Was it actually that bad, you guys?
Speaker 1:said it. So we had Aaron from LaMour came out with this in Northern Ireland so that was fun. He was a good time. He was giving Phil a hard time, giving me a hard time. It's just golf with the guys, but bucket golf it's a little more relaxed. Golf cart might have been nice, but there was a lot of it was a dirt field but it's still a good time. Nice and toasty out there. But Jason, friend of the pod, phil, former host of the pod, don't know if he's coming back. Hopefully he's back. Hopefully we get to hear from him again. And Aaron all tied. They all had, i believe, 57 strokes and I had 67, so I lost. So three-way tie for first and I took last.
Speaker 4:Yeah, but I thought it was a team event.
Speaker 1:No, it was well for the Bulldog tickets. It was the number one. Whoever won the tournament?
Speaker 3:It wasn't the winners. So if you tie, what happens?
Speaker 1:They did a little shoot off and it went three holes of who did the best. They just said whoever won, who won. So Jason won.
Speaker 4:Wait so someone. There's a winner of each four-some one, pretty much Yes, And then the overall winner won the Fresno. Yeah, won the Fresno. What was the score of the overall?
Speaker 1:I don't know who won We ended up. I had a wedding yesterday for my cousin, so I had to kind of peel out a little early.

Speaker 1:I could text Caleb and ask him. but yeah, So I might do that.

Speaker 1:Fun event. Yeah, like I told Caleb, i don't know if they're gonna do it again, but I was like if you did this again, we'd bring a team. That's your name.

Speaker 1:Honestly, i think both are fun. Like a lot of people saw that post on Instagram, they were like intrigued. They're like, hey, that was cool. I would do that because it's new and it's pretty easy. It's fast.
Speaker 3:I think it'd be fun. But like, don't you think there'd be like some semi pro, like cornhole players, like would wanna come and just smash the tournament?
Speaker 1:I would do cornhole. I just only have one set of cornhole boards to my left. I don't know if I wanna like. I guess I could try to round up 10 cornhole boards.
Speaker 2:I don't wanna maybe I don't wanna buy.
Speaker 1:I don't wanna buy nine cornhole boards and then store them.
Speaker 4:You think you need 10 cornhole boards.
Speaker 1:How many teams do you think we can get for a cornhole tournament? I think we can get a good amount out there.
Speaker 4:Yeah, but I think also part of the fun is, you know, only having like three games going on once and some people hanging out Yeah depends how many teams you have Like.
Speaker 1:if you had 30 teams, I don't know if you'd wanna do.
Speaker 4:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, For sure You could honestly try it. You could probably round up six or seven cornhole table.
Speaker 1:I think so. So we might need to do maybe we do that in July or August to kick off the season. We should do a little-.

Speaker 1:It's okay, but you have to have like big holes, cornhole is a good like hanging out thing to do. You know everyone hangs out talks pretty social like We should plan it, we could barbecue. We should just plan it, we could barbecue. Yeah, we could barbecue too.

Speaker 1:I think so, so we should definitely look into that. Jordan, you had a lot of basketball down in LA. Yeah, went to LA for a Fills old stomping grounds.

You know we're kind of on the more prestigious side So we got invited, didn't play our best but you know we got all young guys kind of learning, growing into new roles So it's good. You know, played some good teams, learning experiences. So it's always fun. You know team event bonding event, you know. So Yeah.

I feel like there's a lot of risks there, but also some huge upside. I don't love my Ryder Severs. I have Pittman Flowers, zay Flowers, zay Jones, dpj, clil Shakir, terrence Marshall, along with the other receivers. I go with the quarterbacks. Don't really love my Ryder Severs, titans, kelsey, obviously, and then Chig Aconco. Really, i just need a ton of I just surrounded kind of Mahomes and Kelsey with a bunch of high upside just hoping they have big seasons type of guys Which you know what. I'm in a $25 draft where I'm trying to win 3 million. I don't hate that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, let's see QB. I have Josh Allen, russell Wilson running back, mccaffrey, deandre Swift, james Conner, jerick McKinnon, elijah Mitchell, taijai Spears that wide receiver Calvin Ridley, jordan Addison, gabe Davis, jameson Williams, john Metchie, josh Downs, miko Hardman, tj Hawkinson at Titan, along with Sam Laporta and Dawson Knox, so I didn't get as many stacks, which I think I'm a little bummed out about, but I think my team's pretty spread out At least. The wide receiver room bothers me a little bit. It's a little young, but maybe that young talent shows.

Speaker 1:Sunscreen. What's your deal with sunscreen?
Speaker 3:You don't like sunscreen I don't like the way it feels and I also don't think it works that well. What SPF are you using? I don't use sunscreen. Now, i think if you don't want to get sunburned, you either wear long sleeves or you don't go outside Sunglasses.
Speaker 1:The sun. I've heard sunglasses do make you get sunburned more, but see, i hate like squinting. I hate squinting.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I don't like squinting either, and I always get like a bad sunglasses tan, but I'm not a biggest fan of sunscreen. I think if you're gonna be outside, you need to be smart and just have yourself be, and that excludes everybody at this table, have yourself be in the shade, but listen. Or if you're just willing to get sunburned, like I am, that's fine. I just don't think sunscreen is just I don't know. It just seems I don't like the feel of it. I don't think it works that well. I think whenever I use sunburned I still got burned. I think you need to, regardless of the SPF.
Speaker 1:I think you need to reapply probably, which you probably don't do You probably sit out in the sun for five hours and don't reapply right, that's true, but also I think it's kind of a scam a little bit. Now what I think the big, we could have a scam draft. That would be really good things that are scams, i think it's a scam. I think a lot of lip glosses are complete scams, like I actually think they make my lips worse. That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:You wear lip gloss.
Speaker 3:No, I think you're talking about.
Speaker 2:Chapstick, chapstick.
Speaker 3:Trent loves the lip gloss that burns your lips and makes it bigger too.
Speaker 2:Trent's wife is always.
Speaker 3:Trent loves the plumping ones that make his lips burn and plump up.
Speaker 4:Trent's wife's always like man. My lip gloss has begun pretty quickly here.
Speaker 2:And Trent's like oh yeah, Oh, I thought this was chapstick Okay.
Speaker 4:No chapstick, I'll make sure to buy you some more for Mother's Day.
Speaker 1:No chapstick. I feel like most chapsticks make my lips worse. I never use chapstick. If I don't have chap lips. I use chapstick. My lips are chapped.
Speaker 4:Well, because you're not supposed to use chapstick if your lips aren't chapped.
Speaker 1:No, but look up chapstick. There's something in it that a lot of them say it makes your lips drier. Yet to use more chapstick. It's a real thing. Look into it.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I just don't feel like I I don't know. I feel like a lot of skin products are not as advertised.
Speaker 1:Not manscaping products, though I actually like their chapstick. It's good They use it.
Speaker 4:They're a good recovery.
Speaker 1:What do you got Jordan?
Speaker 4:So you know, I was at a hotel all weekend and my divas are people who work in customer service but don't wanna serve customers.
Speaker 1:Okay, What do you need? an extra towel or something? No, no, okay.
Speaker 4:So you know it's like.
Speaker 1:They didn't create a microwave or something.
Speaker 4:People at the front desk lobby who act like you're crazy for asking them to do something for you, Like you know.
Speaker 1:Are we allowed to act? Was this like a 2 am like you needed a plunger call?
Speaker 4:No, okay, couple different things Like you know, we got laundry, a bunch of boys, sweaty jerseys, and one of the coaches calls to ask you know, hey, where's the laundry room? You know, and she said, oh, whatever to the floor? You know, and it's like, okay, do you guys sell soap? And she many questions, she goes goodbye, sir, you know. Or you go down to the front desk and you know, hey, can we get the bathroom opened? you know, over here, not even looking at you bathrooms over the left.
Speaker 1:I know it's like People just don't wanna do their job.
Speaker 4:They don't want to do their job Like you're working, and you can't be rude to people when you're working in cuss. Like you're at the front desk of a hotel Your job is not your job.
Speaker 3:You're at your job to tell someone to go open that bathroom or go do it yourself, or tell them it's closed.
Speaker 4:Or just like sir, i'm really sorry, but we don't open that bathroom until 10 am. You know there's one down the hall that you can use if you really need to use it, not be like And not looking you in the eyes. Yes, like you know, it's like.
Speaker 3:Eye contact. You could almost just say yeah, people just being rude.
Speaker 4:But it's like customer services, your job. You work at a hotel front desk. You have to talk to people.
Speaker 3:Like you can't choose not to talk to people even if you're having a bad day.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That's true, maybe. Yeah, phil kind of did that to us. He chose not to talk to us today, You know he'd probably be good customer service. You know now that I'm thinking about all that?
Speaker 3:Because he did not even give us an explanation.
Speaker 1:Yeah. So basically, yeah, yeah, sounds good, sounds like an LA thing.
Speaker 4:Phil would understand, okay.
