What is up, my dudes? This is Trent with the fantasy football dudes podcast. I am joined by Phil Jordan and Seth. It is a hot one.

Speaker 1:

It's hot. Can you turn up your mic a little bit? I don't think I can hear you.

Speaker 3:

Officially the hottest. Officially the hottest fantasy pod in America, right? Is that true? Is that what?

Speaker 4:

you guys hear him, I'm not sure.

Speaker 2:

Test test test.

Speaker 1:

I think this heat, this heat is taking out of me. It's making me blind and deaf.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, it's hot 105 today. What is it right now?

Speaker 4:

It's not all of this 105 in here, but it's definitely in the mid 80s in here?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, i don't think mid 80s, i don't complain a ton about it, but it's hot.

Speaker 4:

I don't think it's 90. right now I'm not sweating yet.

Speaker 3:

I'm also, but I will be soon. I think I'm self conscious now, phil, saying my mic isn't working.

Speaker 4:

No, I can hear you. I can hear you. No, it's working now.

Speaker 3:

Good, good, good So, but it is hot, it's hot.

Speaker 1:

It's hot, it's the hot one.

Speaker 3:

You know we have probably the coolest June ever. Yeah, We hit triple digits one time in the whole month of June, which is nice.

Speaker 4:

Which is absurd here. Yeah, so, and now we're here.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's just awful.

Speaker 3:

We're in the new studio. It's not quite done yet We still got any lights.

Speaker 1:

You know, we got this. This is what happens when Trent doesn't pay his contract.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, exactly, so we got this place.

Speaker 5:

You went full.

Speaker 3:

Antonio Brown This thing is this thing is okey rigged. You can check it out on YouTube at TFF dudes, we got an extension cord going through the door, we got the windows open and yeah we have a co-producer here.

Speaker 1:

We got a co-producer, we got a couple lights, just you know, plugged in.

Speaker 3:

But everybody have a good weekend. Before you know, we're doing our consensus Fantasy football rankings here. So, guys that you know people have the ESPN has ranked too low that we think should be higher, So we each got a couple of those. We also got some divas on this show that you want to stick around for. But, Philly, you have a good weekend. You want to recap? Yeah, I had a great weekend.

Speaker 1:

I actually man I'm, so I don't know if I should bring it up right now or just come up. Can I? can I give an early diva? Is that okay? Can I come back around with another?

Speaker 3:

diva Sure, sure, that's fine, yeah, sure.

Speaker 1:

So I went to. I went to a lake right, i went to a local Christian lake, the Christian camp that has a lake, hume Lake. It's about an hour and a half from where we, where we live, right, super fun, took my family there, great milkshakes I think you guys have all had the milkshakes there Delicious milkshakes, fun, just kind of hang out, swim. But it was an incredibly busy weekend, as I'm sure you guys can imagine, up at the lake Probably, and I, i guess I can't wait for this diva, so I'm just going to say it now. People who don't pull off on the turnouts if they're driving slow, Yeah. How long.

Speaker 3:

That, that's that's, that's that's were you carsick or something Or what was. I wasn't carsick.

Speaker 4:

I was driving speed limit and what were they driving?

Speaker 1:

Thank you, Seth. That's a great follow up question to my diva.

Speaker 4:

Because if it's 10 miles an hour slower than the speed limit, what are you doing, Even if it's a speed limit?

Speaker 1:

sometimes I think it was, it was 40 miles an hour. I clocked the dude going 35.

Speaker 2:

And there were 10 cars with the speed limit is 40.

Speaker 3:

The speed limit is 40. Do you have a radar gun Like I'm?

Speaker 1:

driving behind him at 32 and I was about a car length behind him. He had to at least been driving 35 and I didn't want to risk my family's life by passing him. Also my turn yeah. On a turn, and also my in-laws were behind me, so if I was just by myself, i might have passed a lot of your going. Yeah, and I I even gave him the little the flicker. You know what I'm saying, like we're. It says on the side of the road it says slow cars Must pull off.

Speaker 4:

Slow traffic. Do you?

Speaker 3:

ever did he result ever in the horn? Did you ever give the horn the action?

Speaker 1:

So here here's. This is what makes the story even better. I gave him the lights to flicker several times. Okay, this guy's driving a RAV4, toyota. You guys know I have no problems with Toyota, i'm a Toyota guy but this guy was driving a RAV4 and now I hate RAV4s. So so it says on the sign pull off, give him the little flick right. Give the guy the flick. He doesn't do it. Give it to him again And I'm like I simply can't do this and I'm not going to drive behind this guy for another 45 minutes, even if my have my in-laws following me. I'm going to pass him and just stay in front of him. Enough, like I don't know, let's call it a mile and a half or a mile ahead, so that they can see me on the long stretches. Do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, so I went ahead and passed him and I talked to my mother-in-law after and she was like I'm so glad you passed that guy. She's like, when you passed him about like a couple of miles down the road, i was just giving him the horn every single time there was that. Oh, wow. It was, it was that guy.

Speaker 2:

The guy didn't pull over The guy didn't pull over.

Speaker 4:

The guy didn't pull over. So either he's really stubborn or or had zero clue. I would say probably stubborn, right, there's no way someone's that clueless, but then again I mean he had his hands at 12 and two cars.

Speaker 5:

He had his hand He might have to go to the car. Was he really like nervous? Was it windy road up the mountains?

Speaker 1:

It was a windier road up the mountains.

Speaker 5:

But we had never drove.

Speaker 1:

No, we had surpassed. We had surpassed the area that doesn't have the. let me do, you know. do you know what I'm talking? like the belt What do they call that? the, the, where they have, like, the blocks so you can't go off the road. We had already passed the one, because up the up that road there's an area that doesn't have any of those. Do you know what I'm talking about? So we had already passed that area. So every single time there was a turn, there was either a berm or we had some sort of rail guard. That's the word I'm looking for Rail guard. So the guy wasn't going to go off the side, Don't?

Speaker 5:

drive 35. I'm just saying he's probably doesn't drive that. very often The problem is on these roads, even though they're four.

Speaker 1:

It makes me so mad. You're making excuses for me. I'm not making any sense.

Speaker 4:

The problem is, even these roads are recommended. It's all right, it's the speed limits 40, but they always put it lower than what it can be. You can drive these roads.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, amen.

Speaker 4:

You can make them at 55. Also, if there's no other cars and you can see around the bend, there's no other cars You can flatten those out too. Exactly, The double line is there, is there, but you can go over that.

Speaker 1:

You absolutely can. I've been with Trent and the driver who we are with was pulling a trailer and that guy was probably taking those turns at 65. We got there, safe there and back and we were probably going to puke. I did not puke.

Speaker 3:

That is amazing that you didn't pick on that. That's why I think this car sick thing is just on your head, phil, because we were having too good of a time on this lot on this most recent trip, i was listening to Trent talk the entire time.

Speaker 1:

It was terrible.

Speaker 4:

So he was eating and do exactly, yes, nauseating, it was hot.

Speaker 1:

The driver of the vehicle. As much as I love the guy was driving simply too fast. I don't need to go into that. Can you agree with my diva? though I agree, i agree, i'll get my people It also my props to my mother-in-law for letting this guy have it on the turn. Why didn't you let him have it. Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 5:

If I would have been alone, if I would have been solo, I would have but I was worried that, like not with the horn or with the flickering lights You want to do something else.

Speaker 1:

No, I did give him the flickering lights.

Speaker 5:

I did give him the flickering lights. It would have been both. No, it would have been both.

Speaker 1:

No, it would have been flickering lights and horn.

Speaker 5:

And a third thing, or no?

Speaker 1:

No, my mother-in-law was driving. He's not getting the joke. Yes, I do get the joke. I'm not going to flip someone off. I'm simply not going to do that. I'm on my way to a Christian camp. First off, if that guy ends up at the same Christian camp.

Speaker 2:

Who's the speaker of the camp?

Speaker 1:

Anyhow, I'm simply not going to do that. The guy, when I passed him he had his hands at ten and two.

Speaker 5:

He was scared and nervous. That's what my point was.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to do that intentionally, but I think if you're scared and nervous and you see an absolute he didn't look at me, that's the other thing. You see an absolute caravan in your rear view mirror.

Speaker 4:

Pull over. Yeah, that's also your point. Especially an absolute caravan, you get over Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And maybe my, you know, maybe I'm like you know, maybe I'm privileged to have been driving with someone who's driving 75 round turns with the trailer, Because it's 10 miles an hour every time he tells a story And then maybe that's it.

Speaker 2:

You know you were on that cruise.

Speaker 3:

I think we got there 45 minutes and the normal person gets there in an hour and a half. They didn't get this pedometer once, but yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm just saying you're not. You and Jordan Seth actually has my back on this. I agree with you. I agree with you.

Speaker 5:

No, i think it's good to even. I just think that it's less applicable on like a windy road, like that.

Speaker 3:

You could make an argument for drivers every week on Divis Yeah.

Speaker 1:

No, but like, the turnout is a big deal, and the reason why it's more applicable right now, i would say, is because we're in the summer, a lot of people go to lakes, a lot of people going up to the mountains, the foothills, whatever it may be. You want to go fishing? take your family on the boat, whatever it may be.

Speaker 3:

Um, anyhow, that's all I'm saying. Yeah, no, I had a good weekend. I watched. uh, me and my wife watched Midway, the new Midway. They, you know they remade that in 2019. Should have made our should have made our patriotic movie. Did you see the credits at the end? I saw the credits at the end. Yeah, did that infuriate you? Infuriate me, but I still thought it was a good movie. It was a good movie. It's a great movie. Yeah, it was a good movie. Yeah, there's some awesome stuff in that.

Speaker 5:

There's a, really it's a really good movie.

Speaker 3:

It's really good. It's really good. Uh, what was the other thing? Our boy, jordan, has a grill. He's becoming a man, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Got a grill? Yeah, learn how to use it. Yeah, jordan.

Speaker 1:

Lift that, lid baby.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, lidless, okay, i don't know what to say, that's our other pod.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that is a subscription.

Speaker 3:

Seth, you haven't been on in two pods.

Speaker 4:

How you doing man, then we'll get into our next, so I'll talk about my last two weekends, since you guys always lie and say you don't know where I'm at or come up with some dumb things. My sister got married, so that's a legit excuse Congrats, congrats. Unlike 15 minute boy over here.

Speaker 1:

But anyways, he's talking about her other pod. I can run 15 minute miles, is what I'm saying 15 minute miles.

Speaker 4:

Okay, also, i guess I didn't do much this weekend, kind of just hung out. It's fun getting ready for 4th of July. It's got hot so I swam more this week Get your dog under control.

Speaker 1:

Trance The river. I got in the river.

Speaker 4:

The river's cold, but also when it's 100 degrees it's refreshing. I surprised myself. I want to bet. this week I made 65 bucks Yeah. We're back. We're on a burner. No, it's not on that We're on a burner? No, it's not on that. I bet on myself. All right, my father-in-law or not my father-in-law, my stepdad, didn't think I could run a mile in 630, ran it in 615.

Speaker 3:

All right, let's do that, let's go. Did you almost die?

Speaker 4:

Oh, my lungs were shot.

Speaker 1:

For the next 24 hours, but it was fine. Is that why you're limping? when you walked in?

Speaker 4:

here? I think. No, i actually wasn't sore at all, my lungs were just toast. When was this? This was on Tuesday, so a pretty hot day And I made the bet on Saturday And I haven't run a mile, probably in, maybe year and a half.

Speaker 1:

Did you do it at the local high school on a track or would you do it? Yes, I did.

Speaker 4:

Was he there? No, he wasn't there. He's at work.

Speaker 2:

I could have ran a little.

Speaker 4:

He's in a line. No, I had witnesses. I had three witnesses and an official time person.

Speaker 1:

So slam that thing. Was that post-wedding or pre-wedding?

Speaker 4:

That was post. He made the bet before the wedding Okay.

Speaker 1:

How is he going to just, he was just like set. There's absolutely no way.

Speaker 4:

I don't know why they were talking. I think they were just talking about running miles and he's like pulling up the averages for males. My age It was like 730.

Speaker 1:

And I was like, dude, I can run that easy 630, come on, but was 730s over like a period of several miles or a one mile?

Speaker 4:

730 is just like the average male between like 21 and 25. It's like set the average time for inner for I think beginners like eight minutes and then like intermediate, it's like 638 or something like that. Anyways, I was just like my fastest mile was in like the 5 30s at my fastest ever. So.

Speaker 2:

I was like I for sure do that Yeah.

Speaker 4:

Anyways, it's we should all run a mile.

Speaker 1:

I think I'm just.

Speaker 2:

Draft for a draft definitely under 15. What's?

Speaker 4:

your love to make it bet fast ever.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, I've done a 5k and I was running like between 730 and 740. It's your fastest one mile time ever fast one mile time. I think I was in like seventh grade and I did like a 615, that's that makes sense.

Speaker 5:

I did like a 610, probably Pre-covid, i think like 2019 probably as an adult.

Speaker 3:

So is your fastest time ever on a treadmill or on land.

Speaker 1:

Is that the track? Okay on land. Is that what you ask?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm trying to get to dirt. Is that what you're asking? I was running great.

Speaker 5:

When you're on the treadmill because you can't like yeah push your. You know you can't Increase the speed at the end.

Speaker 3:

Mm-hmm, i don't think I've ever tried to like run a mile very fast. Not that I'm very fast. I think the fastest I've ever done is like 920 on a treadmill.

Speaker 1:

I've never like been like I'm gonna run this really fast, no if you could do it turn honestly, if you ran 920, i would like that's faster. I get 8, 8, 30 for sure That's. I don't think that that's slow, you know? Yeah, that was like to, that was like.

Speaker 3:

I was three years ago probably, when I was just like trying, and then yeah, anyways So you did, you won.

Speaker 1:

I was just happy.

Speaker 4:

I made 65 bucks because I was like. I was like I don't know how it came up. They're talking about running miles, because they all, those old people, they all work out all the time and I just don't want to and I Was like there's no way. You don't do crud, you can't run a 630. I was like you old man, like what are you talking about? Yeah, you'll fart. And I know my mom's gonna listen this pot and she's gonna be like, yeah, he's an old fart.

Speaker 2:

She believed in me. She did.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we should have him on the pod. He's an X, he's in, he's be a. Technically still, we can still volunteer, so we can have him on and talk about, you know, like people driving slow in the mountains, you know so you're not sure, i'm sure he would he'd be the guy to drive the speed limit, that's for sure.

Speaker 4:

Really, yep, and it bothers me. 40 there's one time when I was still in high school and we went to Where was it? What's the lake in between? Oh Tahoe, anyways, that's like a six hour drive. Well, he drove slower so it took seven and I was like man, if I drove this We would have been there in five. Made me so mad. We drove the speed limit the whole way there, drove me how much were you chirping?

Speaker 1:

How much were you chirping him?

Speaker 4:

I didn't want to chirp anything because I know he would just drive the same thing and he wouldn't do anything. and then I don't know, it's just don't be like well, do you say I care about?

Speaker 2:

living or something like that.

Speaker 4:

Dude, what are you talking about? five miles an hour, like, faster, like.

Speaker 1:

I like how said. Didn't have an argument with him in the car, but he's re-revisiting the argument on his own.

Speaker 4:

I honestly probably just knocked out in the car, but still, like I was it still. It's makes you mad. I'm like, oh yeah, there's no excuse to drive. I'm sorry, there's never mind. I probably shouldn't be encouraging breaking the law here, but I think everyone has done it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, no, you know what you're encouraging, seth? You're not encouraging breaking the law, you're encouraging driving the speed of traffic using which is also legal driving. Yes. Yes speed of traffic is a legal thing.

Speaker 4:

Yep, that's not.

Speaker 1:

But speaking of speeding. The unfortunate thing, though, is I've also driven with Trent, who will hug the right lane. The guy told me on the Last trip.

Speaker 4:

No, trent likes the feel of the right. No, it's the feel of the, the reflectors on his, on his wheel.

Speaker 1:

This is what he told me, seth. This is what he told me if you are speeding in the slow lane, you are less likely to get a ticket. That is not true. I said true, I said based on what he's like. I don't know.

Speaker 3:

The people have just told me that growing up, i'm just like I know a lot of people have told me that I'm It's kind of family thing, if you'll probably get lit up in the YouTube comments about this film. I'm just gonna let you know and I'm glad I'm all for it. But what?

Speaker 1:

what is the basis in which you make that statement?

Speaker 3:

I the statement. The basis is is the highway patrol don't look at the slow lane as much as a the fast lane.

Speaker 5:

I always see pull over trucks. The trucks are always pulled over. Yeah, trucks are easy to watch. I'm, i'm, i'm, i'm, i'm.

Speaker 2:

I'm easy.

Speaker 3:

Other, not other states in my can go the speed limit. They don't have to only go 55, that's a California thing.

Speaker 2:

So it's definitely easy. It's definitely easier to catch.

Speaker 4:

No, I think it is.

Speaker 3:

I think it is no like. Texas The semi trucks can go 75 if it's 75.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but you do that in California, so that still talking about semi trucks.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, correct, 18 wheelers, correct. It's how you get like all your like. I understand That's how Trader Joe's gets all the food for you and stuff like that.

Speaker 1:

They're driving in the same lane. You're driving, yeah, and in California.

Speaker 3:

I think it's easier to pass in the right than is on the left.

Speaker 5:

You're insane, but okay, i know, it all depends I think probably depends.

Speaker 3:

You can pass in every lane is all you can, but I feel like lately There's more slow drivers in the fast lane. They're on the slow lane. I got feel like I can weave better on the right than the left like using the shoulder, using the shoulder, absolutely shoulder speaking of shoulders, you know The modern man's a man who takes care of himself. Phil, manscaping isn't just for live special occasions. It's a requirement for optimal health and superior hygiene and healthy self-esteem. You now have the right tools for safe and precise grooming and hard to navigate sense of areas, plus post trimming products to help keep Yourself dry all day long. Man scape really did that kind of come in clutch today during church. Should we bring that up, or that we probably need to bring that up later? right, i just saved man's skate for the end.

Speaker 1:

You should have seen yeah, a little bit We can talk about it was. Wait we'll wait about the heat. But yeah, dude's dude, I was against that side.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, basically what I'm saying dudes 20 for 20% off your whole entire order. go to manscapecom, enter dudes 20 get 20% off your whole order. You've got some boxers which would have been really nice wet Wicked a sweat wicking some razors for every area, everywhere. So go ahead, go to manscapecom, tell them to do. Sent you entered promo code dudes 20, 20% off their whole entire order. Let's get these consensus rankings here. Phil, you want to start? we can start this off now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no for sure. So basically we're doing a consensus ranking And so essentially what? what the deal is that we're gonna be going over guys who we feel are not ranked highly enough. We talked about a little bit on ESPN's fantasy rankings Anything off their trend, you have anything you want to add there But essentially we're just gonna kind of go over them, kind of give us our, like you know, pros, cons, why you think how? point PPR half point PPR, why you think we should have them. I'm just gonna. What I'd like to do is just start with Jordo And then we'll go Trent and Seth and we'll just kind of go through those. There was no. There was nothing specific that we chose here about like what specific guys you had to take.

Speaker 4:

It was just like free for all choose any position like you see a guy and you don't. You're not. You don't like where they Think he's out correct.

Speaker 1:

That could be a quarterback running back wide receiver Heck.

Speaker 3:

It could be a kicker for all of this work you know, there will be no kickers, there will be no kicker. I'm not taking a kicker.

Speaker 1:

But I, you know, given given your logic about, you know, driving in the slow lane and not getting ticket, i could easily see you taking a kicker. I'm gonna talk, i'm actually gonna kick it over to my, my grilling friend here a. The dude who grilled chicken right before here smoked chicken, rather, got a new grill, jordan, give us your guy here.

Speaker 5:

So I'm gonna go Be a homer here and go. Calvin Ridley I just saw in fantasy pros their consensus rankings. He is at 20, which I think is maybe a little bit more, but like the ESPN one, they have him at 26 and they don't have. So he doesn't have half point BPR, he's 26 in there. I think PPR, full point PPR. But I just I don't know, i'm maybe I'm a little too bullish on Calvin Ridley. I just think if he's, if he's, i'm assuming that he's going to be in shape, conditioned. I know that they said that Calvin. Calvin really looked really good in the the OTA's Good today. So they said you could tell him and Lawrence had been Working out together. They've been, they've been working out a lot They. There was some chemistry there between the two of them, sure, so yeah, i just I personally I think Calvin really is gonna be a top 15 receiver. Maybe I think he might push it for a wide receiver one this year.

Speaker 4:

I think he could be a top 10 like I would yeah, I would be his bold to say he'd be top 10.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, so like, i definitely think, like he's, i think he's gonna be somewhere between like eight and They're eight and 15.

Speaker 4:

I know it's just someone of a range, but like that's really good.

Speaker 5:

He's, he, i. I just think that that Offense is going to be very good. I think that he's not going to be able to be double covered because of Evan Ingram, christian Kirk, zay Jones. It's the threat of Travis E T Now the backfield. Like I just a believer in Trevor Lawrence, and maybe I'm getting my hopes up too much, but I just think Trevor Lawrence is the real deal.

Speaker 4:

It's gonna be fun to watch the judge.

Speaker 5:

I think he's a stud and I think y'all is really good. They have a great coach and so I just I really like Calvin really. I feel like he's gonna come in. He's trying to prove something. Chip on his shoulder. I think he's in shape. He's been working out quite a bit and he looked good and what we've seen from him so far.

Speaker 3:

So you know what my favorite thing is about Calvin Ridley? that hasn't been getting talked about. He's still on his rookie contract.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, i know, that's crazy.

Speaker 5:

It's a really good deal.

Speaker 3:

So it's a good deal.

Speaker 5:

So if he goes out there and just you know, puts up crazy numbers, he's gonna get paid, and Lawrence is on a rookie contract also, so there is a Possibly they can pay him really good, right, yeah, there's a way where, like actually, like it's it's all based on, like, the way that trade went down, it's like a weird or it's all incentive base with what they gave up for him too, like they gave up nothing for him. So, yeah, so either even if they sign him to a long-term deal, like he has 28 So I mean he's not young anymore, but he's 28 and he has had almost zero playing miles on his body the last two years, yep, so I Mean, let's be honest, like Calvin Ridley from three years ago, with what we all assume is elite quarterback and Trevor Lawrence, like He would be a top 10 wide receiver being drafted 100% now I get it like there's a leap to say he's going to be that guy. Yeah but I think, at the end of the day, even if he's 80% of what he was like, well, even if you get him at what they have him, at night, they have him at 20 on the odd fantasy pros.

Speaker 1:

I thought they had about 30 on ESP, i think in the standard.

Speaker 5:

He's at 30 in the you get.

Speaker 4:

My is your second receiver. You're gonna be really happy. Oh yeah, Yeah, I mean, it's the second receiver who has potentially the better than the receiver you drafted first.

Speaker 5:

Well, like there's a, there's a very good chance you could honestly have. You could walk out of a draft with a Munro, cm Brown, t Higgins and Calvin Ridley as your top three receivers.

Speaker 4:

And you could have the best receiving core in the league. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5:

Or honestly, you could. there's maybe a world where, depending on what league you're in and if people are scared of Calvin Ridley, where you could get like one of those top three guys like a Jets Justin Jefferson, cooper Cup Jermar Chase, and then maybe, like on the back end, come back with like a Terry McClure and Calvin Ridley Yeah, that's the really really good like. that's pretty impressive.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, i know, i. I. this is definitely going to be Ridley's team, i think, as the receiver, Absolutely, and Z Jones is going to go on the back burner.

Speaker 5:

He was, but I think there's like that offense is going to throw the ball a ton and Christian Kirk, Christian Kirk will be a guy. It's still two.

Speaker 3:

What did get? what did Z Jones finish last year?

Speaker 5:

He actually he just like big spike. Yeah, it was like 20 something.

Speaker 3:

He had some big blow up games where he was just the guy. Okay.

Speaker 1:

I'll pull it up And I actually think Christian and Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk is on the ESPN. I want to. If we're looking at non PPR, i think Christian Kirk is 32 and Calvin. Ridley is 30. They're right next to each other in that, in that setup.

Speaker 5:

I think that I think Z Jones actually a better real life football player for the Jaguars than he was like fantasy last year. I think the guy who actually has a drop off in that offense is is. This is not a hot take by any means. I think a lot of people think this would be.

Speaker 3:

Evan Ingram Like I think you think him more than than Zay.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, Just cause I think Zay's numbers weren't crazy, Like what like you just I see what you're saying.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Evan Ingram had like a like, had a really good year last year, especially like touchdowns wise. That's who I could see like some of that 73 passes for 70, 766 yards and four touchdowns. It seemed like he had more touchdowns than that.

Speaker 4:

I think he had a week where he had three.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, so I mean we'll see. I just think that overall the numbers all come down for everybody. But I think Ridley is is. It is the guy there, like you guys said.

Speaker 1:

Yeah we can probably move on here. Trent, I'm still trying to pull him up. I'm not.

Speaker 3:

He's probably not.

Speaker 1:

He's pretty far down is what I'm saying here, but he did have some really big weeks. He did have some really big weeks. So I'm actually going to move it over. Seth, you want to tell us about your guy a little?

Speaker 4:

bit Sure I'm going to go. I'm sorry I lost him here. Am I in the Deandre Swift? Now I'm looking at this. I didn't see this earlier, but it's for what it's worth. It's going to all mean nothing, but it's saying it's a bad schedule for Deandre Swift. I think that takes into effect the teams they're playing, how good their defense is, but also their run defense. If you look at Miles Sanders, if someone has, if someone has that pulled up, where did Miles Sanders finish last year? I also for what it's worth. I think Jalen Hertz is still going to run the ball a lot. He's still going to score quite a few touchdowns, but I think he's going to score less touchdowns and also have less yards And I think that's where Deandre Swift slots in. So Miles Sanders ended at 13 last year, i believe. So I think I mean I'm seeing him here at 26 on fantasy pros. I think he could finish top 20. I think maybe the 15 mark might actually be good for him. Like I don't know, i don't really see, i really don't see Ken Makers or James Conner finishing higher than him. James Conner is at 23. Like, i think he could have Travis Etienne even at 13. Like I know he's on Jacksonville, but also I don't know if he has that much better of a season than Deandre Swift. I think the Eagles offense is obviously better than Jacksonville, but I think it's just way more there.

Speaker 3:

What worries me about Swift is just the committee approach, like I think he might have Spike Weeks also, I think I think so too, because the Eagles do use all their running backs.

Speaker 4:

But I think Swift is going to be that. I think he's just that special player that I don't. I mean Detroit really didn't use him that much And I know he was hurt Last year. Philadelphia, i'm not sure they use as much committee as you think.

Speaker 5:

I don't think so either.

Speaker 4:

Miles Sanders had a really great year, so he had 260 attempts for 1269 yards, 11 touchdowns, so his.

Speaker 5:

I'd be curious what the Eagles rush attempts were to running backs last year and what that market share percentage is, because my guess is probably 60, 65, 70%.

Speaker 3:

I think what I'm thinking is Jaylen Hirsch just took some rushing touchdowns.

Speaker 5:

Oh for sure, But Sanders had 11 rushing touchdowns last year, which is like the best he's ever done.

Speaker 3:

And that offensive line is really good.

Speaker 4:

Well, and think about how many times Jaylen Hirsch scored touchdowns with that, the one yard little push they did, yeah, and then they scored over half of his touchdowns doing that And they're saying they're going to take they're trying to take some rushing touchdowns away from him, right. Or I mean he's still I don't know what Jaylen Hirsch touchdowns finished last year. I know it was a lot right And I think it would have been more, but I think he's still projected around nine or 10 this year. But that was less than it was last year. So Miles Sanders, those are going to score a ton of touchdowns this year.

Speaker 1:

We all know that Miles Sanders had 259 carries. he second was Jaylen Hirsch and third was Kenneth Gainwell at 53. So T 59 Sanders, 165 Hertz and 53 Kenneth Gainwell.

Speaker 4:

So 250 to 59 running backs. So I mean that's that's, that's not so that's a big share more. I mean I think it's probably safer to say he's going to finish in the top 20, but I think he will finish around the 15 mark, Like I see him being a similar player to Travis He had about a 50, 50% market share of the Russian attempts with and that's including Jaylen Hertz.

Speaker 5:

So you take out Jaylen Hertz. I mean his market share was running back. So to your point I think if Swift gets those numbers like I think he's going to finish.

Speaker 4:

I think he's going to finish around Travis ETN And what they're saying is ETN is going to finish around 13. I think the the 15 to 20 ranges right instead of 26.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, i, for the record, i thought about having Swift as one of my guys too, so I think that was the easier one than my other one.

Speaker 4:

I think the other one's going to be more of a stretch, but we'll get there when we get there.

Speaker 3:

So this is actually kind of a big deal to me, seth, because you had Swift last year in a lot of fancy football leagues. He kind of burned you too.

Speaker 4:

Well, i mean, he was hurt, right. And then, when he came back and and um, jamal Williams, just having that like, almost stupid stupid touchdown like share, like Swift wasn't getting the ball as soon as they got in the 20 yard line.

Speaker 5:

It's pretty crazy if you actually look at some of those. like how many times did St Brown catch the ball and run all the way to the one and get tackled Like it's only? it's actually kind of insane.

Speaker 4:

The look, and I had St Brown too, and that actually like pissed me off, because then at the end of the year they throw the tight ends after St Brown would get tackled on the three.

Speaker 5:

Jamal Williams ran so good last year. It's insane.

Speaker 4:

Well, jamal Williams Yeah, i mean I'm not saying he didn't deserve it, but like no, i don't.

Speaker 5:

I'm not saying ran good like you physically, like just metaphorically, ran really like, ran really good to like, do. like those touchdown numbers are crazy, like that guy cannot not have a touchdown for the next three years and that's the regression coming back to the mean with that guy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Anything else there Can we move to Trent.

Speaker 5:

He may not score a touchdown all year this year. Like, what do you? yeah, wouldn't shock you, but I feel like the Saints.

Speaker 3:

I feel like that's a pretty good spot for him to still kind of be that red zone back.

Speaker 1:

Yeah Well, this is kind of an interesting one, right The.

Speaker 4:

Saints offense. The Saints team as a whole is going to be interesting to watch, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it is You want to. you want to transition over to me, phil?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, i was going to transition to you and I think this one yeah, go ahead, trent.

Speaker 3:

I'm trying to find my notes, see which one I got here. Yeah, i have a Mari Cooper as my guy right here and I know you hate this Jordan, but you know what he finished, as last year.

Speaker 5:

What 10.

Speaker 3:

He had his best fantasy season ever. A Mari Cooper No.

Speaker 4:

I, I, I, I didn't see that. So I think in a lot of places where he's too high, but anyways, a lot of places like, have him ranked.

Speaker 3:

right now He's at 18. I think this is another guy you could maybe get in the third round, like if you wanted to go, like if you wanted to go in the first round and maybe get like CD lamb.

Speaker 5:

I think you could get.

Speaker 3:

I think well, I think you could get Cooper and Ridley on the same team is what I'm saying. Jordan, I think that's pretty good, i just don't know. And that's as a like, as a two and three wide receiver, not your one without your one Like. I don't know what you. You could get Travis Kelsey Man. I don't know who you get in the second round when you do something like that, but I think you could get Ridley and a Mari Cooper on the same team, as you know so where do you think he will be Like if you're saying there, I think he'll be another top 10. I think he'll be another top 10 because I think I think Watson has to be better, Like Watson wasn't good last year and Mari Cooper finished number 10.

Speaker 5:

Okay, so they did bring in Elijah Moore, yeah Well, and they drafted, said your tolman. So who are guys that I think will? and they still don't own people's Jones and Joe who had tied in. So you're just not.

Speaker 3:

I just think he's going to keep. He's going to be. He has another. How old is he? Let me look right here He's 29. He's 29. I think he still has a little bit of a tread on the toes, where he can get you know top 10. Good, No, where are you drafted? Mari Cooper, I think you'll be very happy where you get him.

Speaker 5:

Okay, calvary, or Mari Cooper who finishes higher?

Speaker 3:

I think Calvin Ridley finishes higher Okay.

Speaker 5:

And Calvin Ridley is being significant, Like okay.

Speaker 3:

So I yeah, i think he finished. Yeah, calvin Ridley finishes higher, but I think a Mari like I'm. What I'm saying is I think Calvin Ridley and a Mari Cooper, like if you went I'm just like if you went like Travis Kelsey, calvin Ridley and Mari Cooper, i think you'd be happy with that and a draft is your first three picks. But what I'm saying is I think you'll get.

Speaker 5:

I don't think you're going to take Calvin Ridley, Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I think Calvin's your third, So you could get like I, I like those two guys as a third and fourth realm pick And I think that's possible right now, Like if you go running backs in the first two you could get like a who'd. You say Like Travis Kelsey, maybe like you could maybe go Kelsey, Mahomes stack, then get Ridley and Cooper or like a Kelsey thing, nick Chubb.

Speaker 5:

You think you can get Kelsey Nick Chubb back to backgrounds?

Speaker 3:

I think you could, and Nick Chubbs never not finished top.

Speaker 5:

Or like a Kelsey, tony Pollard, ridley Cooper.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, no, i think I think you can get Cooper, and if Cooper is not your number one receiver, i think you'll be really happy, but I still think he's going to be a wide receiver one this season. Like 29 is not that old wide receivers still take a while to fall?

Speaker 5:

off. I'm not going to put weight in the shot of Watson.

Speaker 4:

I don't think so either. What was Cooper's numbers better after Watson? or were they better with Jacobi Bressette? Do we know? I think that's a good split to actually look at.

Speaker 3:

I don't think that that's enough to Well okay.

Speaker 4:

So here's his, here's his top And I know, and I know, 2022. I played in a while but 2022.

Speaker 3:

he finishes wide receiver five and week three. He finishes wide receiver two and week 11 and wide receiver three and week 17. So, yeah, they definitely were like spike weeks It's feast or famine.

Speaker 5:

I'll tell you, i can tell you. So wait you. How many spikes weeks did he have with three?

Speaker 3:

He only had one with Jacobi, or when did? when did Watson come in 910.?

Speaker 5:

He played four games.

Speaker 3:

Okay, he only played four games.

Speaker 1:

So he started in Houston and in week 13 is when he started, I believe.

Speaker 3:

Right, Okay, so he had two with Jacobi and he had one with Watson. So he finished second week 11 and third week.

Speaker 5:

So week 13. Week 13, he only went over 100 yards once and only had Are you sure?

Speaker 3:

I see over 100 yards in week three.

Speaker 5:

No, no with DeSean Watson he only had over 100 yards once and only had more than four catches once, where, as opposed to that, his numbers were a lot better. pre-DeSean Watson.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but DeSean Watson was bad. Also, the small sample size we're talking about four games.

Speaker 3:

I think a full off season together. Yeah, I think what.

Speaker 4:

Jordan's saying is he wants to be proven wrong to believe in a market? Yeah, like his targets weren't there.

Speaker 5:

He only had one double-digit target game with DeSean Watson. He had one, two. He had six double-digit target games without DeSean Watson.

Speaker 3:

And that's why I'm thinking you'll be able to get him where I'm saying I think you can get him.

Speaker 5:

You just have to believe in DeSean Watson, to believe in Mark.

Speaker 3:

Well, what I'm saying is like a top 10 Finnish wide receiver you probably need to take in the second round. I'm thinking of the potential here to get him like fourth or fifth, right Yeah. So that's kind of like and like. What you're saying is I think a lot of people don't believe in DeSean Watson. That's why I'm saying I think you could get where you're getting Cooper. I don't think you'll be mad, but like last year maybe, where you got Cooper, or two years ago maybe you were upset.

Speaker 5:

I'm saying. The only way you can make the argument, though, is you believe in DeSean Watson. So, it's like it's harder, like. so, like the Calvin really thing is, i think most people believe in Trevor Lawrence. now Where the DeSean Watson thing is, it's hard for me to agree with you because I don't believe in DeSean Watson, like I don't necessarily disagree with you at a Mark Cooper in itself. I thought a seasoning put together last year was really impressive.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, i still think that we got to give DeSean Watson one more year. It wasn't like I know it was a while ago. he was playing really good, but he was playing really good, you know, before everything happened. So I just, yeah, even DeSean Watson's like, if you can get that guy's like your number two quarterback like a super flex or something like you might be able to get him like a super flex late.

Speaker 5:

I think he's going higher than what you think, really, oh yeah, he on PFF right now.

Speaker 3:

DeSean Watson is the quarterback. He's going 118 overall, i mean.

Speaker 5:

Trent. Espn has him as QB8, Fantasy Pros has him as QB10.

Speaker 3:

You're not like he's going to be drafted in every single he's QB14 in a PFF right now, which is maybe a little bit better.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, but I just don't know what other people are The ESPN ones. I like because most casual guys play where ESPN, espn or like the Yahoo or like, so like these are a little bit more like just I don't know, espn is what most people look at. Fantasy Pros when you Google fantasy, football, fantasy pros comes up like they're going to look at these rankings to pick and DeSean Watson's at 10.

Speaker 1:

It's wild that he's at 10, don't you think? I think it's crazy.

Speaker 3:

I was doing my quarterback rankings this past week. It's really hard.

Speaker 5:

Like just once you get out of 10. Once we get to QB rankings.

Speaker 1:

Do we want to go in there? number two right, We said we're going to do two each. Yeah, two each. So two each. Why don't we go backwards? Why don't we go? Trent, you want to start this, You want to go?

Speaker 3:

on the flip it around here.

Speaker 1:

It looks like that bothers you a little bit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it kind of bothers me, but you kind of bothered me in general, so I shouldn't be shocked at all about this So bothers you what you see in the mirror too, and I didn't say anything about that.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's uh, do you want me to start at the beginning, or what do you want me to do here?

Speaker 3:

No, i just while we're here, you know, i just thought we should maybe talk about underdog sports. Underdogs, the dude's favorite place.

Speaker 1:

That's what I was going to do, but I was like hey.

Speaker 2:

I was trying to get, I was trying to game plan a little bit what you wanted to do

Speaker 1:

here, So if we're going to be talking about underdog, underdog is the easiest way to play fantasy sports. Trent, did you know that? I recently found that out. Yeah, so fantasy underdog is the best, easiest way to play fantasy sports. Draft your team and forget about it, no setting lineups or trades. It's the dude's favorite place to play best ball and all kinds of other DFS games. Enter dudes and they will match you up to $100. There's some they also came out with. Should we talk about it here? Some some new little, yeah, the new formatting is really neat, jordy, you want to jump into that a little bit?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, so it's like it's best ball, It's 100% best ball.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 5:

They have and it's. It's the big. I think it's $15 to enter. The price pulls crazy. I'm curious how many entries in total will be in the tournament. No, it's 150 max $15 a pop. But it's best ball 100%. But they have the payouts They pay out every week. Yeah, so it's like you have the same team for all 17 weeks, but it's more DFS like in the fact that you get paid per week.

Speaker 3:

Daily per week. The more you're talking about that, the more I like it.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, because you don't have to wait until the end of the season to see if you're gonna make any money And it's actually Which is annoying about best ball sometimes. Sometimes if you don't want to have the money sit there forever. But the cool thing is that you can just have like two really good weeks and make your money back.

Speaker 3:

Do they have that for baseball right now, Seth? No, this is a brand new They're gonna start at like halfway point.

Speaker 5:

I doubt they'll do it for baseball. It's a brand new format. I think it's. I don't think I've seen it anywhere else.

Speaker 1:

It'll be interesting to see what it looks like for baseball long.

Speaker 4:

We'll see. I thought maybe I saw something, but I could be wrong.

Speaker 5:

Not, i don't think in this. It's hard because the weekly payout for NFL makes this really Lucrative exciting fun.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it makes it very appealing. It makes it very appealing Like two series in a week. Yeah, it's tough, it's every day, it's hard.

Speaker 2:

It makes it tougher.

Speaker 5:

So I think the min cash per se, like the minimum amount of money you can make in a week, is 10 bucks. Obviously, you can make zero money, but if you were to get a certain lowest cash point was 10 bucks. So even if you were to hit there two times, you made five bucks on your entry over the course of the season.

Speaker 1:

So- Are they gonna have it for college football? That I did not look at.

Speaker 5:

I don't think Underdog supports college football for a baseball. Yeah, they may, and as of right now, we don't.

Speaker 1:

I've been saving my time and efforts for the NFL season, so I haven't been-.

Speaker 5:

Yeah. So, and do you know when this gets released?

Speaker 3:

I probably, if I looked at my email I probably could figure it out. But you enter promo code dudes, and they will match up to $100. So That's you could do Really helps us out if you guys do that.

Speaker 5:

How many entries? with 200 bucks, quick math here 13, you could get 13 entries 13 entries, 13, lucky, my lucky number.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, also, what else helps us out, guys, is remember, don't be rude, share the dudes If you enjoy us whispering in your ears. Maybe someone else will enjoy us whispering in their ears also. So if you have a friend, share us with that friend. You know, If we're your only friends, leave us a review. Yeah, leave us a review, you know, and tweet at us whatever. It's been a fun week on Twitter, actually.

Speaker 5:

Go make some friends, like you need to make some friends? Yeah, make some friends. Yeah, yeah, reach out.

Speaker 3:

There's a lot of people that wish we were there. You know more than what we are right now. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

More than just Yeah, they wish that we'd come through the radio and just be like sitting next to them having a chat.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's people listening to us in their track. They're like man. I wish Phil was right next to me talking to me.

Speaker 1:

I would say that's very unlikely.

Speaker 3:

I think that's overrated or, like you know, like probably it's not as Maybe we save our listeners.

Speaker 5:

It's not as good as what you think is what I would say Like.

Speaker 3:

I'm doing it right now. You can see us on YouTube at TFFDudes. Go check that out. Also, follow us on Instagram and Twitter. If you know, we are able to view 400 tweets right now.

Speaker 1:

Let's be you know 300 of those every day. Seth, did you even respond to that message thread I?

Speaker 4:

saw it. I mean I think it's kind of ridiculous, but also, like I, maybe kind of get what they're doing.

Speaker 1:

I yeah, I mean I'm kind of game for it, but these guys were-.

Speaker 3:

I saw them back and forth, back and forth, these guys, between the hours of 10 am and 10 am They sent about 300 texts.

Speaker 4:

I mean it does say temporary, but also like who knows?

Speaker 1:

Okay, So were you following that text thread?

Speaker 4:

though.

Speaker 2:

I read it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

There was a lot to read, man. It was a dissertation from two guys who?

Speaker 3:

I I'm honestly surprised you can read that much, Bill.

Speaker 1:

Wouldn't take advice to order Taco. Bell from It's the most filled script Speaking of Taco Bell, though I was on the phone with Trent.

Speaker 5:

And he was ordering Taco Bell.

Speaker 1:

And mid mid order. They like I don't know if it was like dual car deals The ordering person switched headphones And so Trent's ordering with a guy, right Yeah, And he gives his order and then a girl switched back and says, okay, is this what you want? And Trent was like so thrown off, so he had to redo his order. But yeah, that's kind of embarrassing, that's close to our third Sort of true. Sort of true, But yeah I don't know if you remember, we talked about Taco Bell last week. Jordan.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I just, I don't know, I'm kind of I want to get-.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I was more than a week ago, it was like two weeks ago. All right, all right, all right.

Speaker 3:

And actually I don't know if we're gonna have a draft this week. Depends if I am able to.

Speaker 4:

I'm gonna mute you for a second. Yeah, sorry the thing just Wow, all right.

Speaker 3:

So if you have, you can adjust that mic and I'll get you going again here, all right, yeah, and so we will not have a draft this week, unfortunately. I might do an old one, just because it's a short week, you know, and with the holiday and everything, i might do a short like, Or in July. Maybe do an old draft you know for the pod, maybe not on YouTube, just so people you know will throw back.

Speaker 1:

Totally fine, totally acceptable. But yeah, so do you want to go into yours, trent?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, i am going to go with and I'm kicking around with who I really want here. That's why I was kind of bummed. you just put me on the spot like this. I'm going to go with Najee Harris. I really like Najee Harris. He's still young, still in that rookie contract. I know that they're talking about Jaylin Williams maybe getting some snaps from and stuff. I know Levy on Bell called him out on social media saying the guy needs to lose weight, get a little lighter. He bulked up a little bit last year. Maybe he can get a little bit more lean. They have the returning quarterback coming back this year, returning offensive coordinator, head coach. I think this is a really good spot for Najee Harris to get back to that self of where he was at. He was getting drafted way too high last year, yeah, and now he's running back 15 to ESPN. I think this is another guy that could be top eight finish at running back And he's. when I look at these running backs, jordan. while I'm doing my ranking, something I've really been looking at is age. Like what age do you think when the wheels fall off on running backs? Is it 27 now?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I think that also is very like Echolers 28. Well, dependent to go.

Speaker 3:

Echolers 28. He's had some big workloads. Cmc is 27. Derek Henry's 28 and he's had a real big workload right. Najee is.

Speaker 4:

He's got to be 25.

Speaker 3:

He's 25. So I still think he's at that good spot right there where he's working for that contract. I really like Najee and I think the offensive line they got a new left tackle, they got Broderick. I think that Najee is going to have a very good bounce back here and I like where you can get him. Where do you think he lands Trent? You think he's a third right here.

Speaker 5:

Well, no, where do you?

Speaker 1:

think he finishes? Oh, I think he can finish top eight.

Speaker 3:

That was a surprise Top eight, actually. I think he finished top eight.

Speaker 1:

Okay. What about you, Jordan? Do you have any thoughts on Najee here?

Speaker 3:

Just not like the team enough, or?

Speaker 5:

No, actually I don't want to give too many spoilers, you know going forward, but I'm high on the Steelers.

Speaker 3:

Let's just say Yeah, no, i think Kenny Pickett's going to be a lot better this year.

Speaker 5:

I didn't. I kind of think that's going to be a hot take. I have going into their quarterback ranking, so I don't want to get too much into that.

Speaker 1:

Okay So, but you like, you like the Najee, you like the Najee. he's ranked too low.

Speaker 5:

The only the only question, you only concern I have with Najee is Jaylen Warren is good, he's good, and so that's the only worry I have with Najee is that the workload, the what's made Najee, what made him so good his rookie year was that he got like 98% of snaps.

Speaker 4:

Absolutely, and you got a ton of dump passes.

Speaker 5:

Yes, And I can't. I'll top my head. I do not know the snap percentage for Najee last year. I know it was less. He was in the 70 range.

Speaker 1:

Who was even his backup, his rookie year.

Speaker 5:

He had no backup. It was Benny Snell.

Speaker 1:

Snell. yeah, no, it was Snell. You're right That tattoo.

Speaker 5:

Snell, yeah, but but my, my fear, my fear trend with the Najee Harris thing is that Jaylen Warren is up in the 40% snaps this year and he's he's that passing down back.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so the passes might not be there.

Speaker 5:

And Jaylen Warren's good, and I know there's been a lot of talk this off season about how they can't afford to keep him off the field. So shoot Jaylen Warren. Where is he being drafted at? That might be someone that I'm very interested in, where's I'm looking here on fantasy, the backup.

Speaker 3:

I kind of like that, my back down to four.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, if you, i was, if you dropped on the. Harris, I think I'd won Jaylen Warren on my team.

Speaker 3:

The backup that I kind of like Elijah Mitchell, i think needs to be getting drafted. you know, probably I don't know where you would get him, but like, just see him. see, like CMC owners, you got to get you got to get you know, Elijah Mitchell, you have to.

Speaker 1:

Do you see CMC playing the piano at a Zach Bryan concert?

Speaker 2:

You guys see that I didn't see that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so Zach Bryan's a very popular we'll call him a country artist and he's, yeah, super popular And he's playing one of his song, one of his songs, and he's like I got my buddy, christian McCaffrey, up here And then Christian McCaffrey starts slapping the keys and he played it like on beat. Everything was really good. Everyone's just going nuts. It was awesome.

Speaker 3:

So I have to look that up. What about the guy that filled Elphi Eagles offensive lineman that's saying at his wedding isn't she beautiful? See that?

Speaker 1:

I sent that.

Speaker 3:

I sent that to you, phil, thanks for was. It was a while.

Speaker 1:

I was up at the Hume Lake.

Speaker 3:

I didn't have any service today. I can't remember, Oh I haven't downloaded.

Speaker 1:

Instagram? I think I have Isn't, doesn't Instagram?

Speaker 4:

You did not just say that on there.

Speaker 1:

Doesn't Instagram have the have the?

Speaker 3:

You need your pick limit. I think I looked at my limit on Instagram. I think I hit my. Okay, all right, i mean it deletes the app for you.

Speaker 4:

So you deleted all of Twitter.

Speaker 1:

That is true, that's fine, yeah, but at least I don't like redownload it and act like that is true. You ever redownload it, will you say the exact same thing, with the differences, phil, is that he?

Speaker 5:

you deleted your account, or just the Twitter?

Speaker 4:

I'm not sure I'm going to delete my account, get your fantasy football, you have to delete your account for it to actually be deleted, like you just delete Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So we're in the same situation? No, if he deleted his account.

Speaker 3:

I'll get close. This is exact.

Speaker 4:

This is equal to your major pains being a patriotic movie take The guy, the guy I will just put like a time limit on your app and just listen to it.

Speaker 1:

I could have said the same thing to you about Twitter.

Speaker 4:

That's true, but I don't redownload it. There's the difference.

Speaker 1:

You will be redownloading it. Let's put a bet Seth before 2024.

Speaker 3:

I want to be back on Twitter.

Speaker 2:

Don't make this bad. This won't be hard, so will you make a lot of money.

Speaker 3:

No, i'm betting anybody. You know me, you think he's going to do this is not worth.

Speaker 1:

This is a gentleman's bet. You've probably never been in one of those because you're not a gentleman Before 2024, you will not be. You will be back on Twitter.

Speaker 4:

What do I do if I lose?

Speaker 1:

That's it, that's the thing. Egg bet, fine Egg bet before 2024.

Speaker 5:

Listen, I want Seth back on. Twitter We don't pay our egg bit, so they don't matter.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we need to do an egg bet video before we make another one.

Speaker 1:

Let's just move on. Jordan you're, or Seth, do you want to go on his? Actually, no, we are going with you, seth, we're going backwards.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, i'm going to go, I have Jared. Yeah, that's not backwards.

Speaker 3:

Yes, this is so me, i, he went for whatever. No, he went in the middle I went first, then Seth went to you.

Speaker 5:

Ok, then you. I know you're a fan of football, but, guys, you know a snake trap works, trent, yeah.

Speaker 3:

We hardly ever do snake draft in here, So it's like yeah, i know, i know, I know I know, I know If you change, if you change up let us take draft for you.

Speaker 5:

At least that would have a snake draft be like this back I started, then Seth went to you.

Speaker 3:

So they are right. I know, i thought OK, i thought nevermind OK.

Speaker 4:

I start.

Speaker 3:

Turn it all around, you get the best of both worlds.

Speaker 4:

OK, on fantasy pros, jared Goff has lifted at 16. I think he's going to finish top 10. They're saying to Sean Watson is at 10. I don't believe in to Sean Watson. I saw what Jared Goff did last year and I think he's going to finish at 10. Right at 10. I think the offense is good.

Speaker 5:

ESPN has Jared Goff at 21.

Speaker 4:

Yes, And I think fantasy pros are higher on Detroit in general And maybe the consensus more is on ESPN, whereas fantasy pros is maybe a little more independent. He has tons of weapons, an insane amount of weapons.

Speaker 3:

They're talking about the tug mobbing to where.

Speaker 4:

Gibbs play in the slot. I think they're going to. I mean, the only time I think they're going to really run the ball is in some weird like first or second down situations, Maybe like for a second. in short, maybe something like that. They might run the ball in the red zone where it's closer. But I mean the amount of times that they are throwing the ball at the end of the year in the red zone to the tight ends was crazy. Jared Goff was putting up a ton of touchdowns late in the season.

Speaker 3:

No, I like it.

Speaker 4:

And I think they're going to. I think I don't think David Montgomery is going to have the same season Jamal Williams had.

Speaker 1:

No, I don't think so, and he finished 10th last year.

Speaker 4:

Jamal Williams, jared Goff Yeah, he finished at 10 last year. So I think he's going to be right there again? I don't think. I mean, I don't even know if Dak Prescott's going to have a better season than So you're thinking he's going to have like a Geno Smith type year, like Geno had this year.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know, finish five, yeah.

Speaker 4:

I don't know, i don't think that's going to happen. I just if all the if all the good quarterbacks we think is stay healthy. I think one through eight is pretty locked to me. So I think he finishes the eight, nine, ten range. I mean. I even think he I mean it's hard to say he'll be better than two, but I think he's going to be bright at 10.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I almost put two on this list, but I just, i just don't know with two. It makes me nervous.

Speaker 5:

What is God's to finish at last year?

Speaker 3:

10. I thought, that's what you said. Yeah, it is.

Speaker 5:

It is.

Speaker 4:

I said 10. He finished at 10. And I think he can even have maybe slightly a better season. I think it's easily repeatable, though. All those weapons are back He did last year.

Speaker 5:

Essentially is what he did in 18 and 19 with the Rams.

Speaker 4:

And the Rams ran the ball way more in 18, 19. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

That's essentially what I'm just looking at, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5:

It's very on par with what he put up in those years, with way less interceptions, though. Yes. So, phil, you guys, i'll tell you what.

Speaker 3:

Phil just found out that our Google Doc sheet has last year's finished and he's been searching all these.

Speaker 1:

I've been looking at no, i've been looking at stats in sleeper. That's fine, yeah.

Speaker 3:

So no, no, i like golf. I'm bummed. That is Jamison, what is it? Jamison Williams? Is that his name? or is it Jamison Williamson? Jamison Williams, jamison Williams, i'm bummed, he's missing those games. Jamar Gibbs, he's another guy that I thought.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, jamir Jamir, jamir Gibbs, jamir Gibbs, jamir Gibbs.

Speaker 4:

They said I mean the earlier news is he was going to be playing. He's going to be playing a ton and he's going to be catching. He's going to be catching. Like there'll be there's me a lot of times where they are running for receivers and Jameer Gibbs is gonna be catching the ball, not running either.

Speaker 3:

No, i, i'm Weird man and a monitor is getting drafted.

Speaker 4:

Really early too, i think I mean. He would another guy thought about to a monitor can finish top five this year.

Speaker 5:

His ADP is up though, because if James and Williams having lots of spin it, i think it's ADP below.

Speaker 1:

I think so, and I absolutely love the lion's schedule for next year. I'm surprised.

Speaker 3:

I'm surprised Phil didn't go crazier over this, because Phil is like secretly alliance.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm all in on set. I'm all.

Speaker 4:

I'm all I would love to see the lions be really good.

Speaker 3:

This day We're talking about, the lions might be on hard knocks again. Is that been?

Speaker 1:

announced because other people don't want to do it, but I'm totally in on it.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, no, they need to, they should really, really teams don't want to do hard knocks.

Speaker 3:

I think it's a distraction. It's a distraction.

Speaker 1:

There were some other things, too, that I think that they were being forced to do. It's like I don't know, it's Yeah that makes this?

Speaker 5:

one more thing Yeah.

Speaker 1:

All right, trent, were you gonna say something? You have a bad read. You want to hit here.

Speaker 3:

Can I go? I think we did all our ad reads. I think we did Jordan.

Speaker 1:

You want to tell us about your guy or Seth? Was there anything else you want to say about?

Speaker 4:

No, i just think Where, wherever, i mean even from Jordan saying they're 21 on ESPN, like that. just see, i mean 11 spots of where I think I think it's just ridiculous, like I don't, i think he does does better than Aaron Rogers. Yeah, it's disrespectful, it's, it's I. I mean even Anthony Richardson being put one spot behind Jared Gough I think is just dumb.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, jordy like.

Speaker 5:

I have Jovonte Williams Running back Broncos. So this is a guy who had a ton of hype coming in the last year, right? I don't know if you guys remember he was Being drafted as a top 10 running back an RB one. So on fantasy pros they are is they have him as RB 28, and on ESPN in their PPR I didn't see what their non PPR is in their PPR He is Running back RB 29. So it's they're very on par with each other. I think John Jovonte Williams is a top 20 running back this year and honestly, i Don't know. Are you guys some aji Parain believers? No, I.

Speaker 3:

I kind of like P Ryan Isn't it.

Speaker 1:

Is it Parain or is it? Yes, I think it is P Ryan. I think I should.

Speaker 3:

I hate it when people can't pronounce names. Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it's fair.

Speaker 2:

So much P Ryan I don't know why I said like that.

Speaker 5:

Anyways, you guys are believe, i see I'm just I Don't know, i would imagine. Do we know what they paid him? It's kind of a weird Um Question. I should know that I should have a.

Speaker 3:

P Ryan had a crazy game last year when he or, yeah, last year, when he had that 4td game right Was it.

Speaker 5:

I just curious. I'm curious what they paid him. It's just kind of So what their investment is in and monetarily wise. But I so all Juwan say I just think this is the guy who had a ton of High pressure. I think he's extremely talented.

Speaker 1:

So I have it. For what would they pay him? I believe it's a two-year 100. Excuse me, 1.3 million dollar con.

Speaker 4:

So nothing, nothing Yeah is that right?

Speaker 1:

Give me a second here.

Speaker 5:

Oh, so the Juwan today, a guy basically a ton of hype last year. There is no Melvin Gordon, which was the main concern going into last year. This is a guy. It's him and P Ryan And I just I think they're gonna use him and yes, his numbers weren't great last year before he got hurt, but he never. I mean 75 yards, 58 yards, 43 yards rushing. He had a huge receiving game to start in a week one Zero touchdowns in four games. But I just it's a guy who I think will do well. I think a lot of people think that offense is gonna be better. The passing game is better. That should open up more opportunity for Juwan day. If you think that the, the Broncos, are a top 15 offense in the NFL this year, i don't see how Juwan day is not an argument. top 20 running back. Did you get those numbers, phil?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, i'm still trying to look for it. Looks like it was. Yeah, it looks like it was 1.5, so that's like zero investment for them really.

Speaker 5:

So they're, they don't have. For future reference. Spot track is what you can use for contracts.

Speaker 1:

Okay, what is that again? Yeah.

Speaker 3:

He will definitely not remember that.

Speaker 5:

Say it, tell it to me spot, spot, spot track, spot TR AC is what I use for all the current contract, so he is on. They sign them a base salary of 1.5 million for this year. He got the signing bonus of one point, so it's a $3 million contract.

Speaker 4:

So yeah, yeah, so my very much.

Speaker 5:

It's two years. 75, 7.5 is what they over the two-year period, so it's not a huge investment like yeah, all of our listeners already googled that on their phone and figured it out. Yeah, Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

I'm just.

Speaker 3:

I'm sorry.

Speaker 5:

Had to realize it didn't take Phil. I was actually on spot track.

Speaker 1:

But I was like I was double-checking my work, like you know, like I always this, fingers got twisted, yeah, anyway so I think you want a top 20 running back.

Speaker 5:

You guys agree with that, disagree with that? What's your guys's takes thoughts on that top?

Speaker 3:

That's fine, i think top 20. Yeah, i do think they're gonna use P run more than you think, just as like a like it's not gonna be like Jalen Williamson. So I think I think, just like a past catching guy, i think they could use him Early, early in the season.

Speaker 5:

But I think as he gets healthier, as it's good, i could see him being like he's having a really good, like second half, the second half of the season.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's a freak, so Anything else? No, i think that's it.

Speaker 1:

I am putting down these things here. I think I may have. I just wanted to recap these here quickly. Trend, i think I may have missed yours here, but on the So I was lining up some other things. So In the the first guys that we went over, jordan, jordan took Calvin Ridley, seth took Deandre Swift and Trent took Amari Cooper. In the second round, or in the second thing that we talked about, jordan took Javonte Williams, trent took Najee Harris and Seth took Jared Goff. They get that right.

Speaker 5:

Yeah right, I get that right boys.

Speaker 1:

All right, cool. So those are the guys we feel like a little bit underrated right now or ranking pretty low that we feel like should be a little bit higher. Personally, like you said, trent, i'm all in on Seth's Jared Goff pick like he ended 10. I feel like the disrespect is there at 20. I definitely think he ends up much higher. We want to go to divas.

Speaker 3:

Let's go to divas. Phil Seth, you said you had a lot to talk about on this pod. If you've ever, i think we're gonna talk about like.

Speaker 4:

The the wedding, so I did a lot of driving because the wedding was in San Diego.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 4:

But this, and so I drove. I drove instead of leaving, which was Sunday night, when we were originally gonna do it, but then you guys bumped it up to your recording was on Friday, right Thursday, thursday, and so I had left Thursday night to go down there. And So, anyways, i hate traffic, i hate driving for longer than three hours, but my diva is people merging onto the freeway, not speeding up to the speed limit. Yeah so, but that happened to me. The other, like a couple, like two, a couple days ago I was. I was driving with my kids back from a dinner and this person Keep in mind, this freeway is 70 miles per hour. This person merges at 35. There is absolutely Nobody on the freeway and and they're like, they're like they go down the thing. They're going on the on ramp, coming on and they're slowing down and like looking over their shoulder. I'm like you have a rear view mirror. Yeah, like on your side mirror look on your side.

Speaker 1:

I mean likely. I'm like when they flick their blinkers on in most vehicles, they didn't even use their blinker.

Speaker 4:

Oh gee, they literally were going into the, into the slow lane at 35 and I'm riding this person's tail Because I'm like what are you doing? like you are gonna kill both of us.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, seth, you know how to solve this problem, though What you don't drive in the right lane.

Speaker 2:

No no he has to.

Speaker 4:

It's an on ramp. I'm stuck behind them.

Speaker 5:

I can't go around on the on ramp. I Thought you were in the right lane merging onto the freeway.

Speaker 4:

That's what you were.

Speaker 5:

You were also going on to the might.

Speaker 4:

Was I saying this?

Speaker 1:

no, no no, you weren't okay. No, you were. I understood completely what.

Speaker 5:

I thought you were.

Speaker 3:

Jordan heard one little part how he could solve this problem. He quit list. Yeah, he's zoned out.

Speaker 5:

I thought that you meant that you were driving and people were emerging.

Speaker 1:

No, i was looking at Trevor Lauren chair products No it was just like I just don't understand.

Speaker 4:

And this person Yeah, I'm just. It just makes me mad because it's like No one taught you to merge onto the freeway slower than the semis are going. You should be, going 55, so you can at least go in front of the semi or go behind him. If you need to break and it's heavy traffic to get behind the flow of traffic, you need to break. That's fine. But when everyone else is driving 70 plus, especially even in the slow lane, you are going to kill me. Yeah, not you, because you're gonna, they're gonna rear end me and then I'm gonna hit you. Anyways, it was the most mad. I was most mad I've been a while. Like I wanted. I drove the same speeds. A person just looked at him. The lady looked over me, like what did I do? and I'm like you're an idiot. That's what you are. Anyways, don't, if you, if you merge onto the freeway slower than the speed of traffic, you're an idiot. Anyways, that's my diva.

Speaker 1:

I feel like that's a fair, that's a fair point. I don't know if I would have said something like that to someone else in another vehicle, but I Just hope these are our listeners.

Speaker 4:

Oh, I hope. I hope you're listening. I hope that person's listening to me.

Speaker 1:

Did you know who they were?

Speaker 4:

No, i didn't, and it honestly. The person it just made me so mad because it's like, who slows down, it doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 1:

Logically, it's it's. That person is probably related to the person who wasn't using the turnoff while driving up.

Speaker 4:

It's the same kind of people. Yeah this country were war.

Speaker 1:

It's just think we give out too many drivers license, i think hey, honestly, i'm not a post that making it more than your driver test once.

Speaker 4:

Unless you like, you have to go to driver's school, right, and then you take it once when you are elderly and and, frankly, probably a lot of elderly people shouldn't be driving either, but they haven't taken their test yet. I think you should have to take another test when you are 40, because there are plenty of 40 year olds who cannot stinking drive, and this person Might have been 40. I don't, they might have been 30. Anyways, it Be driving.

Speaker 3:

They're gonna kill some. I'll tell you something, seth if you want this problem solved, let's just not put it in the DMV's hands. You know I'm saying like that's not gonna make it better.

Speaker 4:

But the DMV, yeah, they're part of the problem.

Speaker 3:

They're part of the problem.

Speaker 4:

Yes, true So it's not a right to drive by the way is a privilege. Yeah, and there are too many people thinking they Can drive when they absolutely cannot yeah, no, I completely agree with you.

Speaker 1:

I'm sitting next to one.

Speaker 5:

You got anything, jordan, i was pretty fired up about this early in the week.

Speaker 3:

I thought you're gonna say earlier in today Huh, they're gonna bring up church. No, I think it was a big deal.

Speaker 5:

No, because I think it's gone around on Twitter a lot pre rate limit Twitter with LSU kind of weighing the baseball, the baseball World Series and how much they benefited from NIL and transfers, and I saw a lot of stuff going around. People were like saying that NIL transfer portal has ruined college sports And I just think that you are an absolute diva if you think that, like who cares? Like who cares if kids are allowed to switch schools because they want to, i don't know like or before the July, like this country's trying to run what Capitalism? Like who are we to tell someone they can't go get the bag at a different school?

Speaker 4:

Or if the school's like a winning school and they know it's gonna be winning and someone's like hey, come play here, We have a good program And also we'll give you X amount of money. Yeah, like, of course I'm gonna do that.

Speaker 5:

Like, why does that bother you so much that someone wants to transfer schools? And it's not ruining college sports. If anything, it's making college sports better. Like, and I know for basketball it's 100% true because more guys are staying in school longer, because they're able to make money while they're in college, And it's you're getting more four-year guys who are staying and you're getting better basketball players in the NCAA tournament, better quality of basketball because they're older guys Not leaving after the freshman year?

Speaker 2:

You're not leaving.

Speaker 5:

Football. You're gonna get football guys to stay for their fourth year instead of going to the draft and then going on draft. At baseball. You'll get the guys who will stay a fourth year because they're gonna make more money in college at LSU and they will be in the rookie A-ball minors Like it's making college sports better because better players are staying in college.

Speaker 4:

It's even better for baseball because they are less full-ride scholarships.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, 100%.

Speaker 2:

Football is a little different, because a lot of those guys are sports.

Speaker 4:

It's better for the smaller sports, especially baseball, because most of those guys are paying for their school.

Speaker 5:

But there's a lot of people who believe NIL is a Rune College course. I just think you're a diva for that, because I said one. Who am I to tell someone they can't go make money? Sure, like, if the college is making money on you, you should be able to make money, and I get that. NIL is kind of turning to more free agency, but it is what it is Like. You wanna leave your job. If a podcast is gonna give me more money than Trent gives me, i'm leaving, you know.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, wouldn't be hard to do. You're right, No it's a Jordan's DMs are really good I agree with you, Jordan, but what I think, what I don't like is it just makes it more professionalism. It's not the amateurism Like what we grown up, what college sports is supposed to be, but it's never been your kid yourself. They've always been getting paid.

Speaker 5:

That, or people have always been making money off people Like the schools. Coaches are making tons of money off these kids The colleges are like. The reality is that guys like, say, johnny Manziel, who was an absolute superstar in college, who?

Speaker 3:

was making money.

Speaker 5:

Who was but could have made way more money in today's world And reality. Didn't make that much money in the NFL, but this college made. You know how much money Texas A&M made off Johnny. Manziel, oh yeah, they made a ton Like tons of money off Johnny Manziel, so it's never been amateur. It's not high school, it's this college, where everyone's Everyone was making money in college sports, except the athletes. Yeah, no, i don't hate it, but I know there's people who are very passionate about Our friends over at Bulldogs, very passionate about Oh, they're not in. Rooting college sports.

Speaker 4:

I think it hurts. Maybe the smaller D1 schools such as Fresno State because a lot of those guys who might play there have a good season and other schools like hey, transfer here, we can get you this much money. But maybe that just means, like Fresno State, like step up your game, you know, become one of those bigger schools. Yeah, And it might take a while and it might hurt And it kind of hurts to say that, but like, you want to get to that caliber, you need to compete and throw more money out there.

Speaker 5:

Well, it takes. It also takes, like your big companies and donors in the area of the school, to To take some pride in that Yeah, yeah To put their money where their mouth is, you know 100%.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Phil, you got anything to add on that? You know you were a former. You're the only former college athlete on this pod.

Speaker 1:

Was it Dilfer who was saying, like if he catches other coaches, like in his players' DMs, he's going to like make everyone aware of it? Who was it?

Speaker 3:

It was a former See and I don't know if I really like that part of it Jordan where it's like you're openly recruiting guys during a season.

Speaker 5:

I do think that they could make restrictions on the transfer portal. Like to? where the portal closes, like where there's more of a defined window of when you can do it, as opposed to like a Jordan Addison of last year transferring to UFC in July, you know Yeah. Or all these guys are going to start transferring in July, like I think it should be more of like a month, a four to six week window of all transfers can happen.

Speaker 4:

Make up your mind before this established summer or Yes, with no penalty, and if you transfer outside of that window, there's You can't play some games.

Speaker 5:

Yes there's a penalty to it.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, No, it was Dilfer. He was saying like Yeah it's Dilfer. It was Dilfer who was saying like if I catch one of these coaches, they're going to be all. I'm going to like be tweeting this all over the news and stuff. It's like Did you just do what I'm talking about? Yeah, did you see that?

Speaker 3:

I saw something like that. I honestly I'm like I agree actually I think.

Speaker 1:

But that is capitalism, though I agree with Seth's point that if you have, if you're like, hey, i'm going to pay you more, i'm going to make you like, show up more, you're going to end up getting paid more than.

Speaker 4:

I felt I'm going to make you money, i'm going to make you more money.

Speaker 1:

Why not go there? I think I'm totally for that, yeah, yeah. The other thing too is like, if you're a big guy at a small school like let's say, we had a player at Fresno, fresno States at a small school, let's say we just had a complete standout at Fresno State, they're going to make a lot of money.

Speaker 5:

Like I don't know, derek Carr, derek Carr could have made a lot of money in while he was in school. That's what I'm saying. And he ended up making Him and Devonte. Both have made a ton of money. But guys like Who's like a better example of like guys who are really important to those teams in college, like a Jalen Cropper, for example, who knows what Yeah, a Jake Hainer.

Speaker 4:

Who knows?

Speaker 5:

what they're going to do Like, and I know they were in the NIL NIL era. But there's been plenty of guys like that over the years, who go to small schools, who are studs at small schools but just aren't going to be that in the NFL. They're not going to make that much money.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, what's your diva trend?

Speaker 3:

My diva of the week is my daughter's turning one here soon, so we're having a one-year-old birthday party. My diva is when you go to a birthday party for a one-year-old, yeah, and they make you stay there to watch the one-year-old open gifts. Has that ever happened to any of you guys?

Speaker 1:

No, Has it happened to you. I've gone to parties where like all right, everybody so-and-so.

Speaker 3:

Susie's going to open gifts And it's like the kid can hardly walk. Yeah, and we got to watch this kid. We got to watch her open gifts. You didn't know what to do with the cake.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the kid like yeah, you know what?

Speaker 4:

I'm saying I think it's pretty fun at birthday parties that you don't open the gifts in front of everybody. Oh yeah, especially if, like, maybe it's different If it's your like a little family party. That's different. Like if the kid opens a gift Yes, i agree, it's immediate family, but like if it's friends, extended family. You're right, trent, no one wants to watch a 12-month-old child open something they can hardly comprehend. Yeah, or?

Speaker 3:

even open. No, comprehend at all. This kid couldn't even blow out its candles.

Speaker 4:

You know what I'm saying? No, yeah, i agree. I think, kids Don't make us do this, trent, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, no, honestly, i'm tempted to do it just to make everybody mad Like all right, we're all going to watch. Yeah, like, here's Trent's birthday party, his daughter's birthday party.

Speaker 4:

She's opening gifts, right now I want to watch She's one. I want to watch the kid eat the cake though, and that's it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we find out. it's like all barbecue equipment that Trent bought for himself.

Speaker 3:

No.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, oh, a new smoker Like.

Speaker 3:

I understand there's a lot of new parents out there As their first kid. It's a big deal, first birthday party, But it's just like we simply don't want to watch your kid open gifts.

Speaker 5:

No one would absolutely know At what age is it okay to do the gifts.

Speaker 3:

I think three or three is probably okay.

Speaker 4:

No, no, no, Three things comprehend.

Speaker 1:

It's age three and like let's put a limit on gifts right. Like if we're going to do it three years old, let's do like five gifts, gifts max, because at some point like they just can't handle.

Speaker 5:

At what point is it full? go open gifts with your friends and friends.

Speaker 3:

For sure, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 1:

Kindergarteners go crazy, five year olds can eat. Yeah, they go nuts Yeah.

Speaker 4:

But let me just say this too Even like I don't always want to watch, even if the person's turning 30, I don't know if I want to watch them open all their gifts.

Speaker 5:

Well, you shouldn't be having a birthday party at 30 where you get gifts, okay, but that's what I'm saying, maybe like maybe 20 or even 10 year olds.

Speaker 4:

You know what I'm saying, If it's fine if you're 10, it's like maybe there's a really big gift that you can share with everybody. Yeah.

Speaker 3:

That would be fun.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, But it's like do we want to watch this 10 year old open 20 gifts? No.

Speaker 1:

Well, well well, that's what I'm saying. Okay, open them later with your family Correct.

Speaker 5:

That's what I'm saying As an adult, no, but as a 10 year old, did you all? I always thought it was kind of neat to watch my friends see what they got.

Speaker 3:

I hated opening gifts in front of people. So did I. I was always afraid it was going to be like something I absolutely hated and I had to pretend I like it. Yeah, I didn't necessarily like it either.

Speaker 4:

I think it. I think what I'm saying is like one of those group ones. I think maybe it's like oh, you got a slip inside for your birthday, let's set it up. You know, or something like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 4:

We did that with our girls.

Speaker 1:

You got a ton of squirt guns With our girls if there's like a big gift, like, as an example, my daughter got a Barbie dream house. We allowed her to open up and then, like the kids, the girls at her party, they all played with it after You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah. The other thing that's equally as bad, and this is maybe more Christmas, i'm probably going to bring it up on Christmas People who simply do not know how to open gifts.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 4:

Like.

Speaker 3:

I'm talking about like you know, like you're at Christmas and you know, maybe you're taking turns and it's like, oh well, so-and-so takes 15 minutes to open a gift. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

Like all of you borrow a pocket knife like just rip the paper off, let's go Big twisty, yeah, big twisty.

Speaker 3:

Is bad.

Speaker 1:

No, but here's. Here's the other thing that I would say. As a kid I didn't really like everyone like watching me open the gift. Oh, yeah, do you get what I'm saying, Like I'm a guy who didn't bother me.

Speaker 5:

Really, you liked it, i didn't Yeah, i didn't Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I'm not really an attention seeker, You know. I feel like I try to fly into the radar.

Speaker 3:

I think that kind of does it.

Speaker 1:

Do you think? I also?

Speaker 2:

want to put on this attention seeker. Yeah, yeah.
