Last Dance or Last Chance?

      Kaaron Rodgers has reported to training camp, man bun, sandals, and an office shirt. On Sunday, we all thought he would announce his retirement (it’s safe to say he came dressed like he was), and the internet sports world was buzzing. What made things even more cryptic, was Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams both put up the same Instagram story of MJ and Pippen fist bumping while walking off the court. Most people have seen this image, but it was made even more popular this summer due to ESPN’s “Last Dance.”
      Rodgers and Adams are among the most deadly duos in modern NFL history. I don’t think anyone will argue that. However, for them to compare themselves to the Chicago Bulls dynasty just doesn’t make any sense. Yes, Aaron Rodgers has a Super Bowl ring and an MVP or two, but MJ and Pippen are a bit of a reach. In all honesty, the IG story reminded me of something that two 8th graders would post before their last pop warner season. 
      As fantasy football fans, we are just happy the saga is over. We get one more fantasy season of the fantastic Packers duo. Robert Tonyan is draftable again, and Aaron Jones should be a top fantasy running back. 
      This is Aaron and Davante’s “Last Chance” in Green Bay. Many thought Rodgers would be hosting Jeopardy this fall. Instead, he will be reading defenses and chucking bombs to his old pal Randall Cobb. This is definitely going to be a unique season for the returning NFL MVP.
