Fantasy Football Week 10: Key Waiver Wire Options and Roster Moves

Fantasy Football Week 10: Key Waiver Wire Options and Roster Moves

We are past the halfway point of Fantasy football. Time flies when you are having. Well, hopefully, you are having fun this fantasy football season. Things we learn at a young age and as a fantasy owner change is necessary. Things change, and not always for the better. We have to adapt and move forward. For example, my wife thought the bathroom needed a change. So she decided to paint it after a Saturday afternoon of tirelessly painting. My two-year-old walked in and said, "Mom, I don't like it; paint it this color." She pointed at the hallway wall, which was the same color that the bathroom was previously. However, I'm afraid I have to disagree with my two-year-old at all because that would be marriage suicide. Also, we don't negotiate with terrorists in my household. It occurred to me that my wife finally got a taste of what fantasy owners go through weekly during the season. I dropped Gus Edwards 3 weeks ago, and he has been on a terror ever since. I haven't felt good about the change. But what I should have mentioned is I dropped him for rookie Keaton Mitchell. So, things are starting to look up. The bathroom looks excellent, but my roster is better after stashing Keaton. Trust the process and keep your eyes peeled on the waiver wire for valuable additions, just like the improvement I've witnessed in my roster after stashing Keaton.

Below are all my favorite week 10 waiver wire options with roster percentages under 68% on Sleeper. Rankings are HPPR with the help of PFF before MNF. Teams on bye this week: Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles

Quarterbacks

  1. Geno Smith (67% rostered), Stream of the week, has a smash spot this week vs. the Commanders. It's a perfect bounce-back spot for Geno and the company.

  2. Sam Howell (61% rostered) back-to-back 300-yard passing performances. Howell is slinging it: tougher matchup this week vs. an inspired Seahawks team that just got humiliated.

  3. Baker Mayfield (49% rostered) finished as QB9 on the week and takes on the middle-of-the-road Tennessee Titans this week. Two games in a row with two TDs.

  4. Kyler Murray (61% rostered) will make his 2023 debut this week vs. the Falcons.

Running backs

  1. D'Onta Foreman (59% rostered) takes on his former team, the Panthers. Cue the revenge game narrative. Foreman saw 59% of the Bears snaps and 87% of their rushes on Sunday. He has volume and has a decent matchup as well.

  2. Zach Charbonnet (52% rostered) outsnapped Kenneth Walker 27-22. For the 2nd straight week, he has out-snapped Walker.

  3. Antonio Gibson (48% rostered) both Commanders RBs had solid fantasy performances this week. He could be a decent fill-in option this week.

  4. Keaton Mitchell (3% rostered) has been on the stash list for the last few weeks. Keaton had a lot of buzz all training camp and finally got off the IR; note he had many fantasy points put up in garbage time. Likely remains behind Justice Hill and Gus Edwards. But he shouldn't be left on your waiver wire. Ravens have a tough matchup this week vs. the Browns.

Stashes

  1. Kenneth Gainwell (27% rostered) had a TD vs. Dallas

  2. Rico Dowdle (6% rostered): Dallas needs someone to give Pollard a break. Will Rico be the guy?

Wide Receiver

  1. Tank Dell (60% rostered): Was he dropped during their bye week? Number 1 priority of the week. CJ Stroud went nuclear this past week. Dell had 11 targets, 6 receptions, and caught the game-winning TD. Add, add, add!

  2. Jahan Dotson (68% rostered) Dotson season is back! 2 straight games with a TD, and Howell is feeding him. He should not be on your waiver wire.

  3. Noah Brown (4% rostered) led the Texans in receiving yards. It's a deep flier as long as Robert Woods is out. But the Texans are playing the Bengals this week, which will require all hands on deck. Two of the hottest QBs in the league are playing this week.

Fliers and Stashers

  1. Khalil Shakir (15% rostered) Making the most of his opportunities.

  2. Demario Douglas (44% rostered) is leading the Patriot's wide receivers, which isn't saying much.

Tight Ends

  1. Taysom Hill (58% rostered) TE6 on the season! He is most likely on your waiver wire. ADD HIM! The ultimate football player has 3 straight games of 14+ fantasy points—my #2 waiver wire priority of the week.

  2. Jonnu Smith (32% rostered) has a great matchup this week vs. the Cardinals. Arthur Smith clearly likes Jonnu more than Pitts. He is worth the flier this week.

  3. Cade Otton (10% rostered) had a huge game vs. the Texans. Caught 6 of 9 targets and also caught 2 TDs.
